  • Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Sitting out Friday

Robinson has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Raptors due to left ankle injury management.

Robinson will get a breather for the second leg of a back-to-back set after he recorded seven points, seven rebounds, three steals and one block across 19 minutes in Thursday's 112-106 win over the Celtics. In Robinson's absence Friday, Ariel Hukporti is likely to enter the rotation as the primary backup to starting center Karl-Anthony Towns.

  • Nuggets' Cameron Johnson: May be rested

Johnson (rest) is questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder.

Johnson, along with Denver's other four starters, is carrying a questionable tag with the team contemplating some maintenance days. Bruce Brown, Tim Hardaway and Julian Strawther could see expanded roles if multiple players sit out for Denver.

  • Nuggets' Christian Braun: Iffy for Friday

Braun (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Thunder.

Denver's entire starting lineup is now carrying questionable tags as the team considers some maintenance days. Tim Hardaway and Julian Strawther could pick up more run if Braun is held out.

  • Tyreke Key SG | TOR

    Tyreke Key: Waived by Toronto

The Raptors waived Key on Friday, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Key was signed to a rest-of-season contract April 6, but he failed to log a single appearance at the NBA level. The 27-year-old guard was a key contributor for Toronto's G League affiliate, Raptors 905, during the 2025-26 season. In 48 games for the 905, Key averaged 14.8 points, 2.4 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.6 three-pointers in 24.2 minutes while shooting 51.7 percent from the field and 40.3 percent from downtown.

  • Saddiq Bey SF | NO

Pelicans' Saddiq Bey: Will rest Friday

Bey will be rested Friday against the Celtics.

  • Pelicans' Karlo Matkovic: Won't play Friday

Matkovic (back) is out for Friday's game against Boston.

Matkovic will be sidelined for the fifth straight time Friday. At this point, it would be a surprise to see him suit up for the season finale Sunday. Matkovic averaged 17.4 minutes per game across 14 appearances in March.

  • Pelicans' Herbert Jones: Sitting out Friday

Jones (rest) is out for Friday's game against the Celtics.

Jones will sit out for a second straight contest as the Pelicans continue to give some other players a look in the rotation. It remains to be seen if Jones will suit up for the season finale Sunday.

Although he's seen healthy workloads, Saraf is averaging just 11.8 points, 4.1 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 1.2 steals in 26.7 minutes per contest over his last 13 appearances.
