  • Clint Capela C | HOU

Rockets' Clint Capela: Muted role continues

Capela registered four points (1-5 FG, 2-2 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one block over 11 minutes during Monday's 118-114 victory over the Pacers.

Capela logged fewer than 15 minutes for the fourth time in the past five games, continuing to play a limited role despite the season-ending injury to Steven Adams (ankle). Now 32 years of age, it appears as though Capela's ability to impact the game on a consistent basis has come to an end. At best, managers should view him as a possible rebound streamer, if and when Houston is matched up against a sizeable opponent.

  • Reed Sheppard SG | HOU

Rockets' Reed Sheppard: Only 25 minutes despite start

Sheppard chipped in 11 points (4-13 FG, 1-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals in 25 minutes during Monday's 118-114 win over the Pacers.

Sheppard chipped in across the board, reminding everyone what he can do when meaningful playing time comes his way. Although he was elevated into the starting lineup, Sheppard was limited to just 25 minutes, a concern for fantasy managers. Given this was basically a best-case scenario, there is cause for concern when Kevin Durant (ankle) returns from injury.

  • Tari Eason PF | HOU

Rockets' Tari Eason: Grabs 10 boards in win

Eason finished with nine points (3-7 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds and one block over 33 minutes during Monday's 118-114 victory over Indiana.

Eason fell one point short of a double-double despite modest shot volume. Since returning from injury, Eason appears to have settled in as a permanent member of the starting unit, a welcome sight for fantasy managers. In six appearances following his absence, Eason has averaged 12.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 2.2 three-pointers, good enough for top-70 value in standard leagues.

  • Timberwolves' Donte DiVincenzo: Drains five triples vs. Memphis

DiVincenzo logged 21 points (7-9 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four assists, three rebounds and two steals over 34 minutes during Minnesota's 137-128 loss to Memphis on Monday.

DiVincenzo and Jaden McDaniels combined to go 10-for-14 from beyond the arc during Monday's loss while the rest of the Timberwolves went 6-for-27 (22.2 percent) from downtown. It was DiVincenzo's 11th game of the season with five-plus threes, and the veteran guard's 36 games of at least three three-pointers leads the Association. He has averaged 13.9 points, 4.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 3.7 threes and 2.0 steals over 31.0 minutes per game over his last nine outings.

  • Grizzlies' Jaren Jackson: Powers Memphis to win

Jackson produced 30 points (8-17 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 11-11 FT), six rebounds, one assist and one block in 31 minutes during Monday's 137-128 victory over the Timberwolves.

Jackson returned from a bruised left quadriceps Monday following a one-game absence and didn't waste any time getting into a groove. He went perfect from the charity stripe and showed improvement from beyond the arc after going just 2-for-10 from three in his most recent appearance Thursday against the Pelicans. This marks Jackson's fourth time reaching the 30-point threshold in 45 appearances this season.

  • Timberwolves' Jaden McDaniels: Stays hot from deep Monday

McDaniels registered 29 points (11-14 FG, 5-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds and three assists over 37 minutes during the Timberwolves' 137-128 loss to the Grizzlies on Monday.

McDaniels extended his streak of 20-plus-point tallies to three games Monday and finished as the Timberwolves' second-leading scorer behind Anthony Edwards (39 points). McDaniels' five three-pointers tied a season high he set against the Thunder on Thursday, and the sixth-year pro has gone 20-for-29 (69.0 percent) from three-point range over his last seven outings. Over that seven-game span, McDaniels has averaged 15.9 points, 3.6 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 0.9 blocks over 32.3 minutes per game.

  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Leading scorer in loss

Edwards supplied 39 points (13-27 FG, 3-9 3Pt, 10-14 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and one steal over 40 minutes in Monday's 137-128 loss to Memphis.

Edwards led all scorers in Monday's contest, though it wasn't enough to lift Minnesota to a victory. The star guard has been in strong scoring form as of late, eclipsing the 30-point mark in five of his past eight appearances dating back to a 55-point outburst against San Antonio on Jan. 17.

  • Pacers' Bennedict Mathurin: Tallies 25 points off bench

Mathurin finished with 25 points (8-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 9-10 FT), four rebounds and five assists in 34 minutes during Monday's 118-114 loss to the Rockets.

Mathurin put together a strong showing in his fourth straight appearance off the bench. He was efficient from the field and got to the charity stripe regularly, putting up a team-high 10 attempts from the free-throw line. Mathurin appears to be easing away from his minutes restriction, as he's now logged 30-plus minutes in two consecutive matchups after being held to 25 and 28 minutes in his first two games back from a thumb injury.

  • Rockets' Alperen Sengun: Drops 39 points in win

Sengun closed with 39 points (13-25 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 13-18 FT), 16 rebounds and five assists across 35 minutes in Monday's 118-114 win over the Pacers.

Sengun delivered a monster performance in Monday's win, tying his season high with 39 points while recording his 23rd double-double of the campaign. A significant chunk of the big man's scoring came at the charity stripe, where he converted as many free throws as field goals. Beyond the scoring outburst, the 23-year-old was a force on the offensive glass with seven rebounds on that end of the floor, the third time this season he's reached that mark.

  • Joel Embiid C | PHI

76ers' Joel Embiid: Will play Monday

Embiid (ankle) is available for Monday's game against the Clippers.

Embiid was listed as probable due to right ankle injury management but will suit up as expected. The 31-year-old has been operating at an elite level of late, averaging 30.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 4.9 assists while shooting 51.8 percent from the field and 40.5 percent from three over his past 10 appearances.
