  • Noah Clowney PF | BKN

Nets' Noah Clowney: Ruled out for Friday

Clowney (back) won't play Friday in Utah, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.

This will be Clowney's fourth consecutive game on the inactive list, and it's unclear if he's made any progress with his back issue. Danny Wolf should get another start Friday evening, and he could see some more shots falling his way with Michael Porter (personal) also unavailable.

  • Nikola Jokic C | DEN

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic: Plans to return Friday

Jokic (knee) is expected to play Friday against the Clippers, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Jokic is officially listed as questionable on the NBA injury report, but barring a setback leading up to Friday's 9 p.m. ET tipoff, the three-time MVP looks poised to put an end to his 16-game absence due to a left knee bone bruise, which he suffered in a Dec. 29 loss to the Heat. Charania had previously reported Tuesday that Jokic wasn't scheduled to be re-evaluated for another week, but the veteran center evidently responded to workouts better than expected over the next few days and looks like he'll be given the green light to suit up Friday. Assuming Jokic ends up playing, expect him to operate with a minutes restriction.

  • Nets' Michael Porter: Won't play Friday

Porter has been ruled out for Friday's game in Utah due to personal reasons, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.

Friday's game is the second of a back-to-back set, so Porter likely would have been rested anyway, but instead, he'll skip the game for personal reasons. With both Porter and Noah Clowney (back) unavailable for Friday's game, Danny Wolf and Egor Demin could see a sizeable uptick in usage and Drake Powell could start. Porter's next chance to play will come Sunday in Detroit.

  • Nets' Ziaire Williams: Won't play Friday

Williams (calf) will not play Friday against the Jazz, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.

Williams will be sidelined for a second straight game. His next chance to play comes Sunday against Detroit. With Michael Porter (rest) and Noah Clowney (back) also out, Terance Mann, Danny Wolf and Drake Powell are candidates for increased minutes.

  • Egor Demin SG | BKN

Nets' Egor Demin: Good to go Friday

Demin (foot) is available for Friday's game versus Utah, C.J. Holmes of the New York Daily News reports.

After getting the first leg of this back-to-back set off for maintenance, Demin will be back in the rotation Friday. Looking ahead, Brooklyn's next back-to-back set doesn't begin until Feb. 19.

  • Ty Jerome SG | MEM

Grizzlies' Ty Jerome: Ruled out for Friday

Jerome (calf) will not play Friday against the Pelicans.

Jerome was previously listed as doubtful and recently practiced in the G League, so he's nearing a return for Memphis. His next chance to make his Grizzlies debut comes Saturday against Minnesota.

  • Kawhi Leonard SF | LAC

Clippers' Kawhi Leonard: Available to play

Leonard (knee) is available for Friday's game versus Denver, Law Murray of The Athletic reports.

Leonard was able to practice Thursday with no issues and will play through another questionable tag. The forward is averaging 24.3 points, 5.7 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.7 three-pointers over his last three outings.

  • Caleb Martin SF | DAL

Mavericks' Caleb Martin: Grabs 11 rebounds with three stocks

Martin logged six points (2-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt), 11 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 27 minutes during Thursday's 123-121 loss to the Hornets.

The scoring comes and goes with Martin, but he's capable of contributing a little bit of everything to the stat sheet without really hurting you in any area. Over the past eight games, Martin has been a top-80 option with averages of 7.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 1.0 triples, 1.6 steals and 0.9 swats per contest.

  • Pistons' Duncan Robinson: Shooting woes continue Thursday

Robinson provided nine points (4-11 FG, 1-6 3Pt), one rebound, one assist and one steal over 30 minutes during Thursday's 114-96 loss to the Suns.

Robinson has been off from three-point territory over the past two games, converting just one of his 14 attempts from distance. The three-point marksman has hit a minor bump in the road, but he should snap out of his shooting funk soon enough, and he'll have an opportunity to do so Friday against the Warriors.

  • Kings' Russell Westbrook: Sitting out again

Westbrook (foot) will not play Friday against the Celtics.

Westbrook will sit for the second straight game. He was previously marked as questionable ahead of Thursday's outing, so fantasy managers can operate under the assumption that he's day-to-day. In the meantime, Dennis Schroder is likely to take on an expanded role.
