  • Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards: Ruled out Sunday

Edwards (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Hornets.

Edwards has been downgraded from questionable to out and will be sidelined for the eighth time over Minnesota's last 10 games. In addition to battling a knee injury, the superstar guard was also dealing with an illness, but the ailment is no longer listed on the injury report. With Edwards and Jaden McDaniels (knee) sidelined, Ayo Dosunmu, Donte DiVincenzo and Mike Conley are candidates for increased roles, but Julius Randle will lead the offense.

  • Pelicans' Karlo Matkovic: Out Sunday

Matkovic (back) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Magic.

Matkovic will miss a third straight game due to back spasms. In his absence, Derik Queen has been seeing more minutes. Matkovic's next chance to suit up will come Tuesday against the Jazz.

  • Pelicans' Dejounte Murray: Downgraded to out

Murray (hand) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Magic.

Murray missed Friday's loss in Sacramento due to rest purposes during the second night of a back-to-back set, but he'll be sidelined Sunday due to a new hand injury. Given he was initially listed as questionable, Murray appears to be day-to-day. However, it's unclear if he'll suit up during the final week of the regular season, as the Pelicans have nothing to play for. With Trey Murphy (ankle) also sidelined Sunday, Jeremiah Fears should see increased usage.

  • Pelicans' Trey Murphy: Won't play Sunday

Murphy (ankle) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Magic.

Murphy has been downgraded from questionable to out and will be back on the sidelines Sunday after making two straight appearances following a three-game absence. With Dejounte Murray (hand) also sidelined, Jeremiah Fears should see increased usage in New Orleans' backcourt.

  • Noah Clowney PF | BKN

Nets' Noah Clowney: Ruled out vs. Wizards

Clowney (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against Washington.

Clowney was added to the team's injury report as questionable due to a left ankle issue, and he's since been downgraded to out. Expect Chaney Johnson and Jalen Wilson to see more opportunities in the frontcourt Sunday as a result.

  • Terance Mann SG | BKN

Nets' Terance Mann: Now tagged as questionable

Mann (Achilles/knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Wizards.

Mann was previously listed as probable, but it looks as though he'll be a true game-time call for Sunday's matchup. Tyson Etienne and Ochai Agbaji could be in line for more minutes if Mann ultimately can't go.

  • Jett Howard SG | ORL

Magic's Jett Howard: Listed out Sunday

Howard is out for Sunday's game against the Pelicans due to a left ankle sprain, Dan Savage of the Magic's official site reports.

It's not clear as to when Howard picked up the injury, but his absence should have only a minor impact on the Orlando rotation Sunday. Jamal Cain and Noah Penda could pick up a few additional minutes in Howard's place.

  • Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Takes part in practice

Towns (elbow) participated in practice Sunday, Jared Schwartz of the New York Post reports.

Towns was held out of Friday's game against Chicago after suffering a right elbow injury, but it appears he's trending in the right direction after practicing Sunday morning. The team should have an official designation for the big man closer to Monday's game in Atlanta.

  • Jamir Watkins SF | WAS

Wizards' Jamir Watkins: Provides 14 points off bench

Watkins provided 14 points (5-8 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, one assist, one block and one steal across 19 minutes before getting ejected from Saturday's 152-136 loss to Miami.

Watkins reached double figures in the scoring column for the first time since March 21, and he did so Saturday with efficiency. The 24-year-old has been deployed as a reserve in six consecutive games, and he's averaging 8.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.2 steals in 19.5 minutes over this span.

  • Jaden Hardy SG | WAS

Wizards' Jaden Hardy: Heavily involved in loss

Hardy racked up 19 points (7-15 FG, 5-10 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal over 25 minutes during Saturday's 152-136 loss to Miami.

Hardy had his three-point shot working throughout Saturday's clash, marking the third time in his last six games that he's torched the nets for five or more made treys. He was also involved on the defensive end by racking up at least one steal and one block for the first time since March 17. Hardy is averaging 16.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.3 assists over his last six matchups.
