Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Re-evaluated in one week
Cunningham (chest) will be re-evaluated in one week, Eric Vincent of ClutchPoints.com reports Thursday.
Cunningham continues to make progress in his recovery from a collapsed lung, but that's the extent of the update. Based on previous reporting, the Pistons are hopeful Cunningham will be available for the playoffs, but a return at the very end of the regular season hasn't been ruled out yet.

Kyshawn George SF | WAS
Wizards' Kyshawn George: Out for season
George (elbow) will miss the rest of the 2025-26 season, Chase Hughes of Monumental Sports Network reports.
George has been sidelined since March 2 due to a Grade 2 distal UCL tear in his left elbow, and the Wizards had no incentive to rush him back to the court for the last couple of weeks. The forward appeared in 48 regular-season contests with averages of 14.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.0 steals and 2.1 three-pointers on 43.8 percent shooting from the field.

Jazz's Bez Mbeng: Lands two-year deal
Mbeng signed a two-year deal with the Jazz on Thursday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
After his pair of 10-day contracts ran out, the Jazz will quickly move to lock him up in Utah after some impressive stretches of play. The defensive specialist has averaged 5.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.7 steals in 29.9 minutes per contest across 11 outings.

Malachi Smith SG | BKN
Nets' Malachi Smith: Returns from G League
The Nets recalled Smith from the G League's Long Island Nets on Thursday.
Smith joined Long Island for its first-round playoff matchup with the Osceola Magic, finishing with 29 points (10-20 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, four assists and two steals across 39 minutes in a 119-117 loss. With the loss spelling an end to Long Island's playoff run, Smith and the Nets' three two-way players -- Chaney Johnson, Tyson Etienne and E.J. Liddell -- are all set to rejoin the parent club ahead of Friday's game against the Hawks. After signing a second 10-day deal with Brooklyn last Wednesday, Smith's contract will expire following Friday's contest.

Max Shulga PG | BOS
Celtics' Max Shulga: Plays in garbage time Wednesday
Shulga recorded no statistics while playing the final eight seconds of Wednesday's 147-129 win over the Heat.
Shulga arrived in Miami in time for Wednesday's game, after he had suited up for the G League's Maine Celtics a night earlier in the affiliate's playoff loss to the Greensboro Swarm. With Maine having been eliminated from the postseason, Shulga will remain with Boston moving forward but is unlikely to see minutes outside of garbage-time scenarios or games in which the team is resting multiple rotation players.

Amari Williams C | BOS
Celtics' Amari Williams: Not part of rotation Wednesday
Williams (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Wednesday in the Celtics' 147-129 win over the Heat.
After suiting up for the Maine Celtics in Tuesday's 112-90 loss to the Greensboro Swarm in a first-round matchup in the G League playoffs, Williams was able to arrive in Miami in time for the parent club's matchup with the Heat. However, after logging 13 minutes off the bench in the Celtics' previous game Monday against the Hawks, Williams dropped back out of the rotation with Neemias Queta (thumb) making his return from a one-game absence.

Pelle Larsson SF | MIA
Heat's Pelle Larsson: Strong showing in loss
Larsson recorded 18 points (7-13 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), three rebounds, six assists and three steals across 38 minutes during Wednesday's 147-129 loss to Boston.
Larsson was an obvious bright spot for Miami as the team dropped to 40-37 on the season. His value has been mostly limited to deeper formats over his last eight games with 14.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.0 steals in 32.2 minutes per contest.
-
Davion Mitchell PG | MIA
Heat's Davion Mitchell: Notches season-high 21 points
Mitchell notched 21 points (8-15 FG, 5-10 3Pt), two rebounds and seven assists in 40 minutes during Wednesday's 147-129 loss to the Celtics.
This was Mitchell's best scoring line of the season, beating his previous mark of 18 points set against the Knicks on Nov. 17. With 66 games played, Mitchell is on pace to finish just outside the top-150 players in nine-category formats with 9.2 points, 6.5 assists, 2.7 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 1.3 three-pointers.

Bam Adebayo PF | MIA
Heat's Bam Adebayo: Strong effort in loss
Adebayo produced 29 points (10-21 FG, 5-10 3Pt, 4-8 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 38 minutes during Wednesday's 147-129 loss to the Celtics.
Adebayo continues to produce counting stats at a very high level for Miami. Over his last 10 outings, he's averaging 21.7 points, 11.3 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 1.7 three-pointers. The bad news for his fantasy managers is that he's shooting just 39.3 percent from the field in that span.
