  • Raptors' Sandro Mamukelashvili: Hits for 23 in spot start

Mamukelashvili logged 23 points (9-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds, two assists, one block and five steals over 32 minutes during Monday's 143-127 victory over the Jazz.

Getting the start in place of Jakob Poeltl (back), Mamukelashvili produced his best scoring effort since Dec. 20, when he dropped 24 points on the Celtics. The journeyman center is on his third NBA team in five seasons, but he's found a fairly steady role in the Raptors' frontcourt, playing 20-plus minutes in five of the last 10 games while averaging 10.6 points, 4.4 boards, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.2 threes in 21.0 minutes a contest.

  • RJ Barrett SG | TOR

Raptors' RJ Barrett: Strikes for team-high 27 in win

Barrett amassed 27 points (10-15 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 3-7 FT), two rebounds and six assists in 25 minutes during Monday's 143-127 victory over Utah.

The 27 points led the way for the visitors as four different Toronto players scored 20 or more. Barrett has drained at least one three-pointer in 14 straight games, averaging 21.5 points, 5.4 boards, 2.7 assists and 2.0 threes over that stretch while shooting 56.3 percent from the floor and 40.0 percent from beyond the arc.

  • AJ Johnson PG | DAL

Mavericks' AJ Johnson: Left out of rotation Monday

Johnson (coach's decision) went unused off the bench Monday in the Mavericks' 137-131 overtime loss to the Warriors.

After a brief stint with the G League's Texas Legends, Johnson was recalled by the Mavericks ahead of Monday's game but was unable to crack head coach Jason Kidd's 11-man rotation. Rather than turning to Johnson to fill out the second unit, Kidd inserted two-way player John Poulakidas (12 minutes) into the rotation.

  • Raptors' Collin Murray-Boyles: Five swats in return

Murray-Boyles (thumb) registered nine points (3-5 FG, 3-5 FT), five blocks, four rebounds, one assist and one steal across 17 minutes Monday in the Raptors' 143-127 win over the Jazz.

Suiting up for the first time since Feb. 25 following an 11-game absence due to a left thumb sprain, Murray-Boyles came through with a magnificent line for fantasy managers who streamed him for defensive stats. With averages of 1.0 blocks and 0.9 steals in 22.1 minutes per game on the season, Murray-Boyles has shown he can be an asset in those two categories when given meaningful run, but it's difficult to envision his minutes picking up much from here. Even with Jakob Poeltl (back) sitting out the second leg of a back-to-back set, Sandro Mamukelashvili still started at center over Murray-Boyles and played 32 minutes, and backup big man Jamison Battle (23 minutes) also saw extended run. Murray-Boyles' outlook won't improve if Poeltl is ready to play in the Raptors' next game Wednesday versus the Clippers.

  • Malachi Smith SG | BKN

    Malachi Smith: Contract expires

Smith became a free agent Tuesday after his 10-day contract with the Nets expired, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

After signing with Brooklyn on March 14, Smith appeared in each of the Nets' ensuing six games, averaging 6.2 points, 2.7 assists, 2.2 rebounds, 1.0 steals and 0.8 three-pointers in 19.5 minutes while shooting 50 percent from the field. Brooklyn will have the ability to re-sign the 26-year-old guard to a second 10-day pact or a rest-of-season deal, with any contract likely to be finalized before the team's next game Wednesday at Golden State. If the Nets opt not to re-sign Smith, he'll likely remain with the organization as a member of the G League's Long Island Nets.

  • Max Christie SG | DAL

Mavericks' Max Christie: Log 15 points in OT loss

Christie registered 15 points (6-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt), two rebounds, one assist, one block and two steals in 33 minutes during Monday's 137-131 overtime loss to Golden State.

Christie posted his highest point total in over a month, due in large part to a decent night beyond the arc. He missed only two shots during the narrow loss. The fourth-year pro has settled into a starting role during his first full season with the Mavericks, and a hallmark of his game is his ability to stay healthy. The guard has missed only eight games over the past two seasons, and two of those were during his transfer from Los Angeles to Dallas.

  • Cooper Flagg SF | DAL

Mavericks' Cooper Flagg: Paces team with 32 points

Flagg totaled 32 points (12-19 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 6-6 FT), four rebounds, nine assists and two steals in 42 minutes during Monday's 137-131 overtime loss to Golden State.

Flagg had a superb night and fell one assist shy of a double-double during the heartbreaking loss. The rookie will miss out on his first shot at the playoffs following a horrific 2-8 skid that put the Play-In out of reach. Flagg will need a superb stretch of games as the season ends if he hopes to take home any hardware, as Kon Knueppel may earn more votes for Rookie of the Year with the Hornets making an improbable run to the postseason.

  • Warriors' Gary Payton: Logs 17 points in win

Payton finished with 17 points (8-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 0-1 FT), four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 21 minutes during Monday's 137-131 overtime win over the Mavericks.

Payton returned to play after resting one game for injury management and was perfect from the floor during the victory. The 10-year pro is averaging only 14.9 minutes per game, but he's seen a noticeable uptick to 22.3 minutes over his past 10 appearances. He's also averaged 13.5 points, 5.3 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.9 steals over the span.

  • Warriors' Kristaps Porzingis: Returns with 22 points

Porzingis logged 22 points (7-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 6-7 FT), seven rebounds, five assists and one steal over 29 minutes during Monday's 137-131 overtime victory over the Mavericks.

Porzingis is making the most of his opportunities with the Warriors when he's healthy. However, he's still battling injury issues that have limited him to only 25 games this season. The Hawks could no longer afford to keep the oft-injured vet on the payroll long term, but he's come in handy for his new team, which needs more of an interior presence during the final playoff push.

  • Warriors' Brandin Podziemski: Records double-double in OT win

Podziemski supplied 20 points (8-15 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, six assists, one block and one steal over 40 minutes during Monday's 137-131 overtime win over the Mavericks.

Podziemski bounced back with a solid total after struggling through a rough four-game stretch where he averaged only 10.0 points. The third-year pro has been indispensable during Stephen Curry's (knee) extended absence. Given the Warriors' playoff position with only 10 games remaining, Podziemski will continue to receive every opportunity to produce, with Curry's regular-season return becoming increasingly unlikely.
