  • Darius Garland PG | LAC

Clippers' Darius Garland: Won't play Wednesday

Garland has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Thunder due to left toe injury management.

Garland will sit out the second half of this back-to-back set, though he'll likely return for Friday's game in Portland. With the 26-year-old point guard out, Jordan Miller and John Collins are candidates to step into the starting five. Kobe Sanders and Kris Dunn could also see increased playing time in Garland's absence.

  • Suns' Haywood Highsmith: Not playing Wednesday

Highsmith (knee) is out for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.

Highsmith will miss a 10th straight game while dealing with a right knee injury. His next chance to play will come against the Lakers on Friday, but he can be considered doubtful for that one until the Suns offer an update on his status.

  • Suns' Mark Williams: Sitting out Wednesday

Williams (rest) is out for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.

As expected, Williams will be held out for the second leg of this back-to-back set for maintenance. During Tuesday's game against Houston, he was solid with 19 points (7-9 FG, 5-6 FT), eight rebounds and three steals across 28 minutes.

  • Grayson Allen SG | PHO

Suns' Grayson Allen: Questionable for Wednesday

Allen (quadriceps) is questionable for Wednesday's game against the Mavericks.

Allen has a contusion and may be held out for the second leg of this back-to-back set. If he's held out by the Suns, Jordan Goodwin and Rasheer Fleming could see a bump in minutes on the wings.

  • Mavericks' Brandon Williams: Carrying doubtful tag

Williams (illness) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Suns.

Williams didn't play Tuesday against the Clippers, and barring a miracle, he's likely to sit out the second leg of this back-to-back set Wednesday as well. With Williams expected to be out, Ryan Nembhard should be in line to see more minutes in the backcourt.

  • PJ Washington PF | DAL

Mavericks' P.J. Washington: Doubtful to face Phoenix

Washington is listed as doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Suns due to a left elbow sprain.

Washington missed the front end of this back-to-back due to left elbow soreness, and he's one of six Mavericks players being listed as doubtful. If the 27-year-old forward is ultimately ruled out, Khris Middleton and Tyler Smith would be candidates to see increased playing time.

  • Rudy Gobert C | MIN

Timberwolves' Rudy Gobert: Ruled out Wednesday

Gobert (rest) has been ruled out for Wednesday's game against the Magic, Jon Krawczynski of The Athletic reports.

The veteran center will sit out the second leg of this back-to-back set, joining Anthony Edwards (knee), Julius Randle (hand), Ayo Dosunmu (rest) and Mike Conley (rest) on the inactive list. With Gobert out, Naz Reid should take on an expanded role, while Joan Beringer will likely see a significant bump in minutes.

  • Klay Thompson SG | DAL

Mavericks' Klay Thompson: Expected to rest

Thompson (rest) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Suns.

Thompson is expected to receive a maintenance day for the second leg of this back-to-back set. AJ Johnson has a chance to step into a sizable role with so many Mavericks expected to sit.

  • Caleb Martin SF | DAL

Mavericks' Caleb Martin: Doubtful to play Wednesday

Martin (heel) is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Suns.

Martin didn't play in the first leg of the back-to-back set Tuesday against the Clippers, and the doubtful tag suggests the veteran forward could sit out Wednesday's game as well. Martin hasn't played since March 15, and it's uncertain whether he'll suit up for any of the final games of the Mavericks' season this week.

  • Naji Marshall SG | DAL

    Mavericks' Naji Marshall: Doubtful Wednesday

Marshall is doubtful for Wednesday's game against the Suns with a left hip contusion.

Marshall left Tuesday's game early and was unable to return after logging 20 minutes. With Marshall expected to sit this contest out, the Mavericks may rely more on Khris Middleton, Tyler Smith and AJ Johnson.
