  • Suns' Mark Williams: Won't play Game 4

Williams (foot) has been ruled out Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round series on Monday against the Thunder, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Williams will end up missing a fifth consecutive game due to a left foot injury. The Suns are down 3-0 in the series, but if they were to win Monday, then Williams' next opportunity to play would be Game 5 on Wednesday in Oklahoma City. Oso Ighodaro should continue to start for the Suns in Williams' absence, with Khaman Maluach seeing more minutes off the bench.

  • Cavaliers' Donovan Mitchell: Poor shooting in Game 4 loss

Mitchell logged 20 points (6-24 FG, 4-12 3Pt, 4-4 FT), six rebounds, three assists and one steal over 37 minutes during Sunday's 93-89 loss to the Raptors in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Mitchell once again struggled from the field during Sunday's loss, missing 10 of his 12 shot attempts from within the arc and nine of his 13 field-goal attempts in the second half. He averaged 31.0 points a game across the first two games of the series, but that number dropped to 17.5 points across Games 3 and 4, going 13-for-40 (32.5 percent) from the field in that span. The series will shift back to Cleveland for Game 5 on Wednesday.

  • Scottie Barnes PF | TOR

Raptors' Scottie Barnes: Comes up big in Game 4 win

Barnes posted 23 points (6-15 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 11-14 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, three blocks and one steal over 42 minutes during Sunday's 93-89 win over the Cavaliers in Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

It was a low-scoring affair at Scotiabank Arena on Sunday, with Barnes, Brandon Ingram and RJ Barrett combining for 64 of the Raptors' 93 points in the victory. Barnes scored 10 of his points in the fourth quarter and made all six of his free-throw attempts in the frame, all of which came in the final 35 seconds and initially gave and then grew the Raptors' lead. The series shifts to Cleveland for Game 5 on Wednesday, where Barnes averaged 23.5 points, 6.0 assists, 2.5 rebounds and 1.0 steals over 36.0 minutes across the first two games of the series.

  • Kevin Durant PF | HOU

Rockets' Kevin Durant: Not expected to play Game 4

Durant (ankle) is not expected to play in Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round series against the Lakers on Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Durant has been working on his recovery from a bone bruise in his sprained left ankle that he sustained in Game 2 on Tuesday. The injury typically carries a 2-to-3 week recovery timeline, and it looks like he will not be able to play in Sunday's elimination game. Reed Sheppard should remain in the Rockets' starting lineup, assuming Durant is ruled out.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

Spurs' Luke Kornet: Not starting Game 4

Kornet is not in the Spurs' starting lineup Sunday against the Trail Blazers in Sunday's Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round series.

Kornet will come off the bench for Game 4 following the return of Victor Wembanyama (concussion). Through the first three games of the series, Kornet has averaged 11.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.7 blocks over 24.0 minutes per contest.

  • Spurs' Jordan McLaughlin: Available for Game 4

McLaughlin (ankle) is available for Sunday's Game 4 of the Western Conference first-round series against the Trail Blazers, NBA reporter Matthew Tynan reports.

McLaughlin missed each of the first three games of the series due to a left ankle sprain. He has progressed enough in his recovery to suit up for Game 4, though he's unlikely to crack the Spurs' playoff rotation, given that he averaged just 6.4 minutes per game off the bench across 44 regular-season contests.

  • Spurs' Victor Wembanyama: Cleared for Game 4

Wembanyama (concussion) is available for Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Trail Blazers on Sunday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.

Wembanyama entered the league's concussion protocol following the Spurs' Game 2 loss. He was unavailable to play in Game 3 on Friday, but the superstar center has progressed enough in his recovery to play in Game 4 on Sunday, and his return will result in Luke Kornet reverting to a bench role. In Game 1 last Sunday, Wembanyama played 33 minutes and finished with 33 points, five rebounds, one assist and two blocks.

  • Timberwolves' Donte DiVincenzo: Undergoing surgery Sunday

DiVincenzo will undergo surgery Sunday to repair a ruptured right Achilles tendon that he suffered during the Timberwolves' Game 4 win over the Nuggets on Saturday.

DiVincenzo will have his surgery done by Dr. Martin O'Malley, the same surgeon who repaired the torn right Achilles of Jayson Tatum in May 2025. The fact that the procedure is taking place within 24 hours of DiVincenzo's injury should help with the recovery, though it would be unfair to expect the veteran guard to return as quickly as Tatum did, which was in essentially 10 months. It seems more likely that DiVincenzo will miss the entire 2026-27 season, though if he does progress enough to return, it wouldn't be until late in the regular season. The Timberwolves will also be without Anthony Edwards (knee) for multiple weeks, so the team will turn to Ayo Dosunmu, Mike Conley and Bones Hyland to carry more of the load for the rest of the postseason.

  • AJ Lawson SG | TOR

Raptors' A.J. Lawson: Cleared to play Game 4

Lawson (back) is available for Game 4 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs against the Cavaliers on Sunday, Blake Murphy of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Lawson popped up on the injury report due to back spasms, but he has been given the green light to play in Sunday's pivotal game as the Raptors look to even the series at 2-2. He saw just two minutes of playing time during the Raptors' Game 3 win on Thursday, when he missed his lone field-goal attempt without recording any other counting stat.

  • Spencer Jones SF | DEN

Nuggets' Spencer Jones: Held scoreless in defeat

Jones contributed zero points (0-2 FG, 0-2 3Pt), four rebounds, two blocks and one steal in 25 minutes during Saturday's 112-96 loss to the Timberwolves in Game 4 of the first round of the Western Conference playoffs.

Jones performed clean-up duty and also stepped in for Aaron Gordon briefly after the latter went to the locker room due to a calf injury. Jones' meager production mimicked below-average results from the first-unit wings, yet he could be relied on for a bigger role in Game 5 if Gordon's calf issue limits him in any way. Although Jones started for Gordon in Game 3, he's generated only 11 total points over the four-game series against the Timberwolves.
