Konchar's last start took place Jan. 21 as a member of the Grizzlies, when he logged two points, four rebounds, two steals and one block over 21 minutes in a 124-122 loss to the Hawks.

    This will be Jones' third start of the season and he'll be joined in the first unit by T.J. McConnell, Ben Sheppard, Jarace Walker and Jay Huff. As a starter this season, Jones has posted averages of 11.5 points, 7.0 assists, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 triples per contest.

    McConnell is in the Pacers' starting lineup against the Wizards on Friday, Scott Agness of FieldhouseFiles.com reports.

    McConnell was cleared to play Friday after missing the Pacers' last two games due to a right hamstring injury, and he'll make his first start of the season due to the absence of Andrew Nembhard (back). McConnell's last start took place April 11, 2025, against the Magic, when he registered 12 points, three assists, one rebound, one steal and one block over 21 minutes.

    Hornets' Sion James: Starting Friday

    James will start Friday's game against the Cavaliers.

    The Hornets will deploy a smaller starting lineup against Cleveland due to Grant Williams (knee) joining Miles Bridges (suspension) and Moussa Diabate (suspension) on the sidelines. As a starter this season (18 games), James has averaged 6.0 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 29.0 minutes per contest.

He has started 10 of his last 12 outings, and over that span he has averaged 7.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 2.8 assists, 0.9 threes and 1.2 steals over 24.2 minutes per game.

    Gafford (ankle) is available for Friday's game in Minnesota.
