Heat's Norman Powell: Questionable for Friday

Powell (groin) is questionable for Friday's game against the Wizards.

Powell may be rested for the second leg of this back-to-back set with soreness. On Thursday against Toronto, he played a mere 17 minutes off the bench with seven points to show for it.

  • Heat's Davion Mitchell: Questionable for Friday

Mitchell (shoulder) is questionable for Friday's game against the Wizards.

Mitchell may be held out for maintenance for the second leg of this back-to-back set. If Mitchell ends up sitting, the Heat could turn to rookie Kasparas Jakucionis.

  • Tyler Herro PG | MIA

Heat's Tyler Herro: Questionable for Friday

Herro (foot) is questionable for Friday's game against the Wizards.

The Heat are contemplating a maintenance day for the second leg of this back-to-back set. Herro had 15 points, four rebounds and four assists in 28 minutes against the Raptors on Thursday.

  • Derrick White SG | BOS

Celtics' Derrick White: Probable for Friday

White (knee) is probable for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

White is expected to play through his knee issue for the second leg of this back-to-back set. With Jayson Tatum resting against New Orleans, White may see a bump in usage.

  • Coby White PG | CHA

Hornets' Coby White: Good to go

White (groin) is available for Friday's game against the Pistons.

As expected, White has been upgraded from probable to available and will return to action after resting Tuesday. He's scored in double figures in 12 straight games, averaging 17.9 points, 3.6 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 20.3 minutes a night over that stretch.

  • Celtics' Neemias Queta: Probable for Friday

Queta (toe) is probable for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Queta is expected to push through this injury for the second leg of this back-to-back set. He double-doubled against the Knicks on Thursday with 10 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and two steals in 24 minutes.

  • Jaylen Brown SF | BOS

    Celtics' Jaylen Brown: Questionable Friday

Brown (Achilles) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Brown sat out Thursday's loss to the Knicks and is in danger of missing the second half of Boston's back-to-back as well. Jayson Tatum (rest) has already been ruled out, so if Brown joins him, Baylor Scheierman, Jordan Walsh and Hugo Gonzalez would be candidates for increased roles.

  • Sam Hauser SF | BOS

Celtics' Sam Hauser: Probable for Friday

Hauser (back) is probable for Friday's game against the Pelicans, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

With Jayson Tatum resting and Jaylen Brown (Achilles) considered questionable, Hauser could see a bump in touches against the Pelicans, making him worth a stream for managers in need of three-pointers. He's appeared in 27 straight games, averaging 9.0 points, 3.9 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 26.0 minutes during that stretch.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Sitting out Friday

Nembhard (back) is out for Friday's game against the 76ers.

The Pacers will be very shorthanded yet again with Nembhard missing his sixth straight contest. It would be a major surprise to see Nembhard in the season finale Sunday.

  • Jayson Tatum PF | BOS

    Celtics' Jayson Tatum: Resting Friday

Tatum (Achilles) won't play Friday against the Pelicans, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports.

Tatum tallied 24 points (7-22 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 8-10 FT), 13 rebounds, eight assists, one steal and one block across 40 minutes in Thursday's 112-106 loss to the Knicks, but he'll take a seat for the second half of Boston's back-to-back set Friday for injury management purposes. In his absence, Baylor Scheierman, Jordan Walsh and Hugo Gonzalez are candidates for increased roles, especially if Jaylen Brown (Achilles) remains out.
