Nae'Qwan Tomlin PF | CLE
Cavaliers' Nae'Qwan Tomlin: Landing standard contract
The Cavaliers intend to convert Tomlin's contract to a standard deal ahead of Saturday's game against the Kings, Spencer Davies of ClutchPoints.com reports.
Tomlin had been riding a two-way contract with Cleveland, but now he's set to be a regular member of the Cavaliers the rest of the way. The second-year forward didn't end up making a single appearance for the G League's Cleveland Charge in 2025-26, instead averaging 6.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 17.2 minutes per contest through 41 NBA games this season. He should continue to stick in the rotation as long as Evan Mobley (calf) is out.

Patrick Baldwin Jr. SF | SAC
76ers' Patrick Baldwin: Joining Philly on 10-day deal
The 76ers signed Baldwin to a 10-day contract Thursday, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports.
The 23-year-old forward will join an NBA roster for the second time this season, after he previously inked a 10-day deal with the Clippers in January. Baldwin will meet up with the 76ers in advance of Thursday's game in Los Angeles versus the Lakers, but he's unlikely to be included in the rotation. The addition of Baldwin gives Philadelphia 14 players signed to standard contracts, which means the team will have to either sign one more player or convert one of Dominick Barlow or Jabari Walker from a two-way deal to ensure Barlow -- who has moved into a full-time starting role -- remains eligible to play in NBA games.

Xavier Tillman C | CHA
Hornets' Xavier Tillman: Traded to Charlotte
Tillman was traded from Boston to Charlotte on Thursday in exchange for cash considerations, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
This was a move designed for Boston to get out of the luxury tax. It remains to be seen if Tillman will be able to carve out a role in Charlotte, but there is a ton of competition for minutes there. Tillman is questionable to debut Saturday against the Hawks.

Norman Powell SG | MIA
Heat's Norman Powell: Not listed on injury report
Powell (personal) is not being listed on the injury report ahead of Friday's game in Boston.
Powell will be back in action Friday night following a three-game personal absence, which should shift Simone Fontecchio back to the second unit. Myron Gardner will likely lose most of his minutes with Powell active.

Andrew Wiggins SF | MIA
Heat's Andrew Wiggins: Available for Friday
Wiggins (hamstring) is available for Friday's game against Boston.
After being unavailable for Tuesday's loss to the Hawks with left hamstring tightness, Wiggins is ready to return to the court Friday. Simone Fontecchio should return to the bench. Wiggins has scored in double digits in 11 consecutive contests, during which he has averaged 15.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, 3.1 assists and 1.1 steals in 29.7 minutes per game.

Coby White PG | CHA
Hornets' Coby White: Out through All-Star break
White will be held out through the All-Star break in an abundance of caution to help rest his ailing right calf, Roderick Boone of The Charlotte Observer reports Thursday.
White has been dealing with this nagging calf injury all season, so with some extended rest, he might finally be able move past the issue. White will miss the next four games for his new team, and with the Hornets coming out of the break with a back-to-back set, there's a chance that White will need to remain on the sidelines for their matchup with the Rockets on Feb. 19. Once healthy, White's fit with Charlotte after the trade deadline will be one to monitor, as LaMelo Ball, Kon Knueppel and Brandon Miller are locked into starting roles.

Josh Hart SF | NY
Knicks' Josh Hart: Questionable for Friday
Hart (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game in Detroit.
Hart sat out Wednesday's win over the Nuggets with the ankle ailment, but there's a chance he'll be able to get back out there for Friday's game. If Hart returns, Jordan Clarkson would head back to the second unit, and Landry Shamet's minutes would dip.

OG Anunoby SF | NY
Knicks' OG Anunoby: Expected to play Friday
Anunoby is probable for Friday's game against the Pistons due to right toe soreness.
Anunoby hasn't sat out since Dec. 23 and is on track to play Friday. Over his last seven appearances, the two-way forward has averaged 21.7 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.0 steals and 3.1 three-pointers in 34.6 minutes per game while shooting a scorching 50.0 percent from three-point land.

Karl-Anthony Towns C | NY
Knicks' Karl-Anthony Towns: Iffy to face Detroit
Towns (eye laceration) is questionable for Friday's game against the Pistons.
This is a new injury for Towns, but the questionable tag suggests that he's day-to-day. If Towns is unable to play Friday, the Knicks will likely lean more on Mitchell Robinson. Ariel Hukporti would be a candidate for more run as well.

N'Faly Dante C | ATL
N'Faly Dante: Cut by Atlanta
The Hawks will waive Dante (knee) on Thursday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
With Atlanta bringing in three players (Jonathan Kuminga, Buddy Hield and Gabe Vincent) and sending out two others (Kristaps Porzingis and Luke Kennard) in the hours prior to Thursday's trade deadline, Dante ended up being a casualty of the Hawks needing to open up a spot on the 15-man roster. The second-year center saw action in just four games at the NBA level before suffering a season-ending ACL tear during a Dec. 19 appearance in the G League. After undergoing surgery in January to address the injury, Dante's rehab program is expected to extend into the start of the 2026-27 season.
