  • Jared McCain SG | OKC

Thunder's Jared McCain: Not starting in Game 1

McCain isn't starting in Sunday's Game 1 of the Western Conference first-round series against Phoenix, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

McCain started in Oklahoma City's final two contests of the regular season. However, with the Thunder rolling with their usual starting cast, McCain will move back to a reserve role, although he should still see 10-15 minutes off the bench.

  • Aaron Wiggins SG | OKC

Thunder's Aaron Wiggins: Coming off bench Sunday

Wiggins is not in Oklahoma City's starting lineup against Phoenix for Game 1 of their Western Conference first-round series on Sunday, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Wiggins started in each of the Thunder's final two games of the regular season as the team opted to rest its starters with the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference locked up. Wiggins will revert to a bench role for Game 1 and should see a fair amount of playing time in the postseason, even if the Thunder's playoff rotation shrinks.

  • Nikola Topic PG | OKC

Thunder's Nikola Topic: Back to bench Sunday

Topic won't start in Sunday's Game 1 of the Western Conference first-round series against Phoenix, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Topic started in Oklahoma City's final two games of the regular season, most recently recording 18 points, four rebounds and 14 assists across 39 minutes versus the Suns last Sunday. With the Thunder's starters healthy to begin the playoffs, Topic will move back to the bench while potentially dropping out of the rotation altogether.

  • Thunder's Branden Carlson: Back to bench for Game 1

Carlson is not in the Thunder's starting lineup for Sunday's Game 1 of their Western Conference first-round series on Sunday, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.

Carlson started in the Thunder's final two games of the regular season and averaged 24.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 3.0 blocks and 1.0 steals over 39.5 minutes per game. He'll revert to the bench for the Thunder's playoff opener, and he's unlikely to see much playing time in the postseason outside of garbage time.

  • Grayson Allen SG | PHO

Suns' Grayson Allen: Available to play in Game 1

Allen (hamstring) is available for Sunday's game against Oklahoma City, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Allen missed the Suns' last three games. It's unknown if the veteran wing will see fewer minutes than usual following the layoff, so the door remains open for expanded roles from Ryan Dunn and Royce O'Neale.

  • Raptors' Sandro Mamukelashvili: Records eight rebounds Saturday

Mamukelashvili ended with three points (1-3 FG, 1-2 3Pt), eight rebounds, two assists and one steal in 20 minutes during Saturday's 126-113 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Mamukelashvili was quiet on the scoring end in this contest, although he at least made up for it by falling just two rebounds shy of the double-digit mark. With Jakob Poeltl likely to remain at about 20 minutes of playing time in Game 2 on Monday, Mamukelashvili should continue to see a solid role on the second unit.

  • Ja'Kobe Walter SG | TOR

Raptors' Ja'Kobe Walter: Modest effort in loss Saturday

Walter provided seven points (2-5 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds and two assists in 28 minutes during Saturday's 126-113 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Walter logged 28 minutes, leading the second unit. However, he finished with only seven points while sinking one of his four attempts from behind the arc. If Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) remains on the shelf for Game 2 on Monday, Walter could see a few extra minutes while possibly getting more opportunities on the scoring end.

  • Raptors' Collin Murray-Boyles: Productive in loss Saturday

Murray-Boyles posted 14 points (7-8 FG, 0-1 3Pt), four rebounds and four assists across 20 minutes during Saturday's 126-113 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Murray-Boyles led the reserve unit by scoring 14 points off an efficient 7-for-8 tally from the field. If Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) remains sidelined for Game 2 on Monday, Murray-Boyles should continue to see additional action while potentially receiving more opportunities on the offensive end.

  • Brandon Ingram SF | TOR

Raptors' Brandon Ingram: Scores 17 points in Game 1

Ingram closed with 17 points (5-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 7-10 FT), two rebounds, four assists and one block over 36 minutes during Saturday's 126-113 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Ingram logged a game-high 36 minutes, although he was quieter than usual on the offensive end. The 28-year-old averaged 22.7 points, 6.7 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 0.3 blocks and 0.7 steals while shooting 25.0 percent from deep across 36.0 minutes in three regular-season meetings with Cleveland. As a result, there's a strong chance Ingram will be more productive at some point during this series, especially if Immanuel Quickley (hamstring) misses more time moving ahead.

  • Jakob Poeltl C | TOR

Raptors' Jakob Poeltl: Quiet offensively in Game 1

Poeltl amassed four points (1-2 FG, 2-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal over 21 minutes during Saturday's 126-113 loss to the Cavaliers in Game 1 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs.

Poeltl logged 21 minutes in Game 1, putting him in line with the 21.9 he averaged in seven appearances in April to close out the regular season. However, the 30-year-old didn't do much offensively, recording only four points on two attempts, although he at least contributed to other statistical categories. Poeltl will look to be more productive offensively when these clubs meet Monday for Game 2.
