Zach Edey C | MEM
Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Gets surgery on elbow
The Grizzlies announced that Edey (ankle) underwent a procedure Tuesday to address lingering discomfort in his left elbow.
Since he's already been in rehab mode and was ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery March 3 to address ongoing discomfort and bone stress in his left ankle, Edey opted to get his aching elbow taken care of with another procedure. Edey is expected to make a full recovery from both the ankle surgery and elbow procedure prior to the start of training camp. Before being shut down in mid-December due to the ankle issue, Edey looked to be in line for a second-year breakout, as he had converted at a 63.3 percent clip from the field and posted averages of 13.6 points, 11.1 rebounds, 1.9 blocks, 1.1 assists and 0.6 steals in 25.8 minutes per game over his 11 appearances. The Grizzlies view the 7-foot-3 big man as a key building block and will plan for him to settle back in as their starting center in 2026-27 so long as he's able to stay healthy.

Isaac Okoro SF | CHI
Bulls' Isaac Okoro: Upgraded to questionable
Okoro (knee) has been upgraded to questionable for Wednesday against the 76ers.
Okoro is in jeopardy of missing his eighth straight game Wednesday. He's no longer doubtful, however, and he's trending in the right direction ahead of this contest. With so many players injured in Chicago, Okoro could step right back into a sizable role.

Royce O'Neale PF | PHO
Suns' Royce O'Neale: Delivers stellar line in return
O'Neale (knee) tallied 17 points (5-8 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 28 minutes Tuesday in the Suns' 125-123 loss to the Nuggets.
After missing the Suns' previous three games due to left knee soreness, O'Neale returned to his usual spot in the starting five Tuesday and supplied one of his better all-around lines of the season. O'Neale should remain a reliable streaming option for three-pointers and steals while he continues to handle a 25-plus-minute starting role, but his low usage rate (14.4 percent) and field-goal percentage (41.9 percent) cap his overall fantasy upside.

Omer Yurtseven C | GS
Omer Yurtseven: Reaches free agency
Yurtseven became a free agent Wednesday after his 10-day contract with the Warriors expired, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.
Golden State will have the ability to retain Yurtseven on a second 10-day deal or a rest-of-season contract, but it's unclear if the team intends to re-sign the veteran center prior to Wednesday's game against Brooklyn. Over the course of his initial 10-day deal, Yurtseven averaged 3.2 points, 3.2 rebounds and 0.8 assists in 11.2 minutes per game over his first five appearances before he was left out of the rotation in Monday's 137-131 overtime win over the Mavericks.

Charles Bassey C | GS
Celtics' Charles Bassey: Signs another 10-day deal
Bassey agreed to a second 10-day contract with Boston on Wednesday, Adam Himmelsbach of The Boston Globe reports.
During his first stint with Boston, Bassey made two garbage-time appearances and played four minutes in total. He'll continue to be an emergency depth option off the bench but is unlikely to be featured in head coach Joe Mazzulla's rotation while Neemias Queta and Luka Garza are both available.

Malachi Smith SG | BKN
Nets' Malachi Smith: Returns on another 10-day deal
Smith agreed to a second 10-day contract with the Nets on Wednesday, Michael Scotto of USA Today reports.
During his initial 10-day stint with the Nets, Smith averaged 6.2 points, 2.7 assists and 2.2 rebounds in 19.5 minutes while shooting 50 percent from the field across six appearances. He should continue to handle a depth role in the Brooklyn backcourt for at least the team's next five games.

Grayson Allen SG | PHO
Suns' Grayson Allen: Returns to action with 21 points
Allen (knee) chipped in 21 points (8-19 FG, 5-12 3Pt), five rebounds, three assists and one steal in 23 minutes during Tuesday's 125-123 loss to the Nuggets.
Allen was held out of the Suns' previous four games due to left knee injury management, and though he operated with a bit of a cap on his minutes in his return, the eight-year swingman was still able to provide fantasy managers with useful numbers in his return. Despite his strong showing Tuesday, Allen won't necessarily see a major uptick in his minutes moving forward, as Phoenix should soon get Dillon Brooks (hand) back from an extended absence and will need to find playing time for him.
