Rockets' Jalen Green: Goes through shootaround

Green (illness) participated in Tuesday's morning shootaround, Jonathan Feigen of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Green is currently listed as questionable to face the Timberwolves on Tuesday night. He played through the illness in two previous outings, but sat out practice Monday as a result. For now, it appears that he may be closer to probable to suit up.

  • Quincy Olivari PG | LAL

Lakers' Quincy Olivari: Available to play

Olivari (ankle) is available to play Tuesday against the Suns.

Olivari has yet to make an appearance at the NBA level this season, so he's not guaranteed to see the floor Tuesday.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Available for Tuesday

Hayes (ankle) is available for Tuesday's game against the Suns.

After missing the past six games for Los Angeles, Hayes is no longer appearing on the injury report. The reserve center holds season averages of 6.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and 0.9 blocks through 10 appearances thus far.

  • Gui Santos SF | GS

Warriors' Gui Santos: Returns from G League

Golden State recalled Santos from the G League's Santa Cruz Warriors on Monday.

Santos spent the day with Santa Cruz, presumably to get some practice reps in. He's hardly seen the floor for Golden State, making six appearances this season with an average of 3.7 minutes per contest.

  • Hornets' Nick Richards: Recalled to Charlotte

Charlotte recalled Richards (ribs) from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Monday.

Richards has missed the past 12 games for Charlotte, but after getting in a practice with the Swarm, it's likely that he's getting closer to a full return to action. Similar to Mark Williams (foot), it remains unclear if Richards will be able to play Wednesday against the Heat.

  • Hornets' Mark Williams: Recalled to NBA

Charlotte recalled Williams from the G League's Greensboro Swarm on Monday.

Williams was sent to the Swarm to get some practice reps in, and he was recalled shortly after. The same is true for Nick Richards (ribs). Williams is presumably getting closer to making his first appearance of the season, but it remains to be seen if he'll take the floor Wednesday against the Heat.

  • Cameron Thomas SG | BKN

Nets' Cam Thomas: Makes early exit Monday

Thomas didn't return to Monday's 128-120 win over the Warriors after exiting with 6:43 remaining in the third quarter, Brian Lewis of The New York Post reports. "I ended up taking him out because he took a foul, he was tired," head coach Jordi Fernandez said, when asked about Thomas' early exit. "I didn't feel it was right. And I just wanted to protect him from himself."

Thomas scored 23 points (6-11 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 8-8 FT) and added three rebounds and one assist in 23 minutes before checking out midway through the third quarter. Based on Fernandez's comments, Thomas appears to have been dealing with general fatigue more so than a legitimate injury, so the expectation is that the 23-year-old guard will be ready to go for the Nets' next game Wednesday in Phoenix. Thomas missed a game last week with a sore back and had also battled an illness prior to last Friday's game in Philadelphia.

  • Jalen Williams SF | OKC

Thunder's Jalen Williams: Fills stat sheet Monday

Williams chipped in 28 points (10-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt, 5-5 FT), four rebounds, five assists, one block and two steals over 32 minutes during Monday's 130-109 win over the Kings.

Williams was very efficient in this win Monday and was able to chip in with at least two tallies in four of the five major categories. The move to power forward should ease things up for Williams on the defensive end, but he's versatile enough to continue producing on both ends of the court regardless of the position he plays in. Williams has scored at least 20 points in seven of his last eight games while averaging 25.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 5.5 assists per game in that span.

  • Thunder's Shai Gilgeous-Alexander: Explodes for 37 points

Gilgeous-Alexander ended with 37 points (13-20 FG, 4-7 3Pt, 7-11 FT), four rebounds and 11 assists in 35 minutes during Monday's 130-109 victory over Sacramento.

Gilgeous-Alexander posted his second-best scoring mark of the campaign and also dished out a season-high mark in assists. There's no question that the star guard has been one of the most consistent players in the league not only this season but also dating back to the start of 2023-24. Gilgeous-Alexander has scored at least 30 points in three of his last four appearances and is averaging 30.2 points per game since the start of November.

  • Thunder's Isaiah Hartenstein: Double-doubles in first start

Hartenstein chipped in 17 points (8-14 FG, 1-1 FT), 10 rebounds and four assists over 32 minutes during Monday's 130-109 win over Sacramento.

Hartenstein came off the bench in his season debut and only needed one appearance to return to the starting unit, posting another double-double just like he did in his campaign opener. Hartenstein is expected to anchor things down low for the Thunder and should have excellent two-way upside as long as he remains in a starting role, which should be the case as long as he stays healthy.
