  • Josh Hart SF | NY

Knicks' Josh Hart: Shows off defensive chops Thursday

Hart posted 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt), seven rebounds, four assists and five steals over 39 minutes during the Knicks' 114-103 loss to the Hornets on Thursday.

Hart made the Hornets work for their win Thursday, with the veteran forward tying a career high in steals while leading the Knicks in rebounds and finishing as the team's third-leading scorer behind Jalen Brunson (26 points) and OG Anunoby (17 points). Since March 1, Hart has averaged 13.8 points, 8.5 rebounds, 4.1 assists, 1.4 threes and 1.4 steals over 30.0 minutes per game.

  • Knicks' Jalen Brunson: Dishes 13 assists in loss

Brunson finished Thursday's 114-103 loss to the Hornets with 26 points (10-23 FG, 0-6 3Pt, 6-6 FT), 13 assists, two rebounds and one steal over 40 minutes.

Brunson came out firing with 17 points in the first quarter but cooled off over the final three frames, going 4-for-14 (28.6 percent) from the field in that span. He still finished as the Knicks' leader in both points and assists, finishing with his first double-double since March 4 and ninth of the season. Since March 1, Brunson has averaged 24.0 points, 9.1 assists, 3.1 rebounds, 1.9 threes and 1.1 steals over 36.5 minutes per game.

  • Coby White PG | CHA

Hornets' Coby White: Key contributor off bench

White logged 17 points (6-13 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds and two assists over 23 minutes during the Hornets' 114-103 win over the Knicks on Thursday.

White helped the Hornets establish a double-digit lead going into halftime by scoring 12 of his 17 points through the first two quarters of Thursday's game. The veteran guard has been a key contributor off the bench for Charlotte and has scored at least 17 points in five of his last six outings. Over that six-game span, White has averaged 20.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 3.0 threes over 21.7 minutes per game.

  • Kon Knueppel SF | CHA

Hornets' Kon Knueppel: Makes NBA history Thursday

Knueppel registered 26 points (9-14 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 2-4 FT), 11 rebounds and eight assists over 37 minutes during the Hornets' 114-103 win over the Knicks on Thursday.

It was another strong performance out of the ROTY favorite, who connected on at least six triples for the ninth time this season and finished two assists short from registering the first triple-double of his NBA career. Knueppel's third three-pointer of the game was his 250th of the season, making him the only player age 22 or younger in NBA history to connect on 250 three-pointers in a season. The 20-year-old Duke product has been a key piece to the Hornets' resurgence this season, and since the All-Star break he has averaged 19.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 3.9 threes and 0.8 steals over 29.7 minutes per game.

  • Killian Hayes PG | SAC

Kings' Killian Hayes: Done for night with finger injury

Hayes has been ruled out for the remainder of Thursday's game against Orlando due to a left finger injury, Brenden Nunes of KHTK Sactown Sports 1140 reports. He finished with one assist in two minutes.

Hayes appeared to suffer the injury at some point during the first quarter, and the Kings have since elected to shut him down for the rest of evening. The Kings will likely turn to Devin Carter and Malik Monk to cover the minutes at point guard while Hayes is sidelined.

  • Danny Wolf PF | BKN

Nets' Danny Wolf: Out again Friday

Wolf (ankle) won't play Friday versus the Lakers.

This will be Wolf's third consecutive game on the inactive list, and it's not encouraging that he continues to get ruled out a full day in advance of tipoff. For now, he should be considered doubtful for Sunday's matchup with Sacramento.

  • Noah Clowney PF | BKN

Nets' Noah Clowney: Probable for Friday

Clowney (wrist) is probable for Friday's game against the Lakers.

Clowney is on track to return from a four-game absence Friday, but he'll likely have some minutes restrictions in his first game back. If Clowney is cleared, there will be less minutes available for Terance Mann, Ziaire Williams and Chaney Johnson.

  • Nolan Traore PG | BKN

Nets' Nolan Traore: Cleared to play

Traore (rest) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Friday's game against the Lakers.

Traore received a scheduled night off Wednesday, but he's been given the green light to suit up for Friday's tilt. The 19-year-old is averaging 9.0 points, 2.2 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 1.0 steals and 1.0 blocks in his last five outings.

  • Vit Krejci SF | POR

Trail Blazers' Vit Krejci: Unlikely to return Friday

Krejci (calf) is listed doubtful for Friday's game against Dallas.

Krejci hasn't appeared in a game since March 15, and that appears unlikely to change while he takes a doubtful designation into Friday's contest. With Krejci trending toward another absence, the Trail Blazers should have spots on the second unit available for all of Matisse Thybulle, Kris Murray and Sidy Cissoko.

  • Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Questionable for Friday

Williams (knee) is questionable to play Friday versus the Mavericks.

Williams logged only 13 minutes in Wednesday's win over Milwaukee, and Friday's game is not part of a back-to-back set, so it would be somewhat surprising to see Williams receive a rest day. However, if he is ruled out, that will open up minutes for Yang Hansen.
