  • Pistons' Cade Cunningham: Not playing Saturday

Cunningham (quadriceps) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Nets.

Cunningham was initially listed as questionable for Saturday's contest, but the All-Star's left quad contusion is severe enough for him to sit out for the first leg of the Pistons' back-to-back set. Daniss Jenkins should serve as Detroit's starting point guard while Caris LeVert, Kevin Huerter and Javonte Green are candidates to enter the starting five. Cunningham's next opportunity to play is Sunday against the Heat.

  • Kyle Anderson SF | MIN

Timberwolves' Kyle Anderson: Won't play Saturday

Anderson (knee) has been ruled out for Saturday's game against the Magic.

Anderson drew the questionable tag due to right knee soreness. The veteran forward will sit out Saturday's home game and aim to return for Tuesday's road tilt against the Lakers. Jaylen Clark and Terrence Shannon are in line for more minutes off the bench in Anderson's absence.

  • Drew Timme PF | LAL

Lakers' Drew Timme: Plays 23 minutes in win

Timme ended Friday's 128-117 win over Indiana with four points (2-2 FG), two rebounds and one assist over 23 minutes.

With the Lakers' frontcourt severely depleted due to the absences of Deandre Ayton (knee) and Maxi Kleber (back), Timme was called up from the G League and thrust into a significant rotation role. Though he wasn't asked to carry the scoring load he usually manages for South Bay, the two-way big man provided 23 minutes of play, marking his second highest minute total at the NBA level this season. While he is likely to return to a high-usage role in the G League once the parent club's veterans get healthy, he proved on Friday that he can provide reliable depth when the Lakers are thinned out.

  • Jaxson Hayes C | LAL

Lakers' Jaxson Hayes: Operates as starter Friday

Hayes recorded nine points (3-6 FG, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal across 25 minutes during Friday's 128-117 victory over the Pacers.

Hayes entered the starting lineup Friday with Deandre Ayton (knee) and Maxi Kleber (back) both sidelined, marking his eighth start of the campaign. While he didn't quite replicate the scoring punch from his season-high 19-point performance against Denver on Thursday, he remained efficient from the floor and perfect from the charity stripe. Hayes notably logged 25 minutes in the win, serving as the primary beneficiary of the Lakers' thinned frontcourt. He should continue to see expanded run for as long as Ayton remains on the shelf.

  • Pacers' Andrew Nembhard: Dishes eight dimes vs. LAL

Nembhard finished Friday's 128-117 loss to the Lakers with 17 points (7-14 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), eight assists, two rebounds and one steal over 31 minutes.

Nembhard finished Friday's game as the Pacers' leader in assists, and while he struggled from beyond the arc, he ended as the team's second-leading scorer behind Pascal Siakam (26 points). Nembhard has played in six of the Pacers' eight games since the All-Star break while working through back and neck injuries, and over that span he has averaged 15.3 points, 6.3 assists, 2.0 rebounds, 1.8 threes and 0.8 steals over 27.2 minutes per game.

  • Luke Kornet C | SA

Spurs' Luke Kornet: Productive effort in comeback win

Kornet provided 10 points (5-9 FG), seven rebounds, two assists and one block across 24 minutes during Friday's 116-112 win over the Clippers.

Kornet reached double-digit points for the first time in his last eight games, providing a steady presence in the second unit during Friday's narrow victory. He notably logged 24 minutes, which marked his highest playing time in a single game since Jan. 6. While he continues to serve primarily as the backup to Victor Wembanyama, the 30-year-old center has been efficient with his opportunities, averaging 6.9 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest this season.

  • Nuggets' Christian Braun: Mediocre in blowout loss

Braun finished Friday's 142-103 loss to the Knicks with seven points (2-7 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four rebounds and five assists.

Braun notably logged 31 minutes Friday despite sitting out the entire fourth quarter of the blowout loss. He has been a total ironman for the Nuggets since returning from an ankle injury Feb. 3, having played and started in 14 straight games. During that stretch, he has averaged 34.4 minutes per game, serving as a durable fixture for a rotation dealing with various frontcourt absences. While his overall production has been somewhat mediocre -- he's averaging 12.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.4 assists per contest -- his availability remains vital for Denver's depth.

  • Clippers' Derrick Jones: Logs 12 points in Friday's loss

Jones produced 12 points (4-12 FG, 2-7 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two blocks in 34 minutes during Friday's 116-112 loss to the Spurs.

Jones didn't have an efficient night from the field during Friday's loss, but he managed to reach double-digit points for the fourth time in his last five games while swatting two shots for the ninth time this season. Since the All-Star break, Jones has averaged 13.6 points, 3.5 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.3 threes and 1.0 blocks over 31.1 minutes per game.

  • Knicks' Mitchell Robinson: Contributes 13 points in return

Robinson amassed 13 points (6-7 FG, 1-2 FT), five rebounds and one assist over 14 minutes during Friday's 142-103 win over Denver.

Robinson was cleared to return from a one-game absence while managing an ankle injury, and he finished Friday's game as the Knicks' leading bench scorer. The veteran center has averaged 6.1 points, 7.0 rebounds, 0.9 blocks and 0.9 steals over 17.1 minutes per game in seven outings since the All-Star break.

  • Grayson Allen SG | PHO

Suns' Grayson Allen: Continues to produce off bench

Allen notched 12 points (4-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, eight assists and four steals over 29 minutes during Friday's 118-116 victory over the Pelicans.

Allen provided high-end utility off the bench Friday, matching his season high with eight assists while racking up a team-high four steals. Even off the bench, Allen has maintained a prominent role in the rotation, logging at least 25 minutes in four straight games. While his three-point efficiency has been a bit inconsistent lately, his massive shot volume -- he is averaging 13 attempts from deep over his last four outings -- keeps his scoring ceiling high. As long as he continues to see nearly 30 minutes a night, Allen remains a strong nine-category asset, particularly for managers needing help in triples and defensive stats.
