Deandre Ayton C | LAL
Lakers' Deandre Ayton: Ineffective in narrow loss
Ayton recorded two points (1-3 FG), four rebounds and one steal over 23 minutes during Thursday's 113-110 loss to the Suns.
Ayton finished with his lowest point total of the season during the loss and suffered through one of his lowest rebound totals of the season. Jaxson Hayes proved to be the better option under the basket against the Suns, and he could be in line for more time now that his ankle injury has healed. Although most of the Lakers' first unit is set, the center position will remain a point of concern.

Austin Reaves SG | LAL
Lakers' Austin Reaves: Misses game-tying shot at buzzer
Reaves recorded 14 points (5-12 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 36 minutes during Thursday's 113-110 loss to the Suns.
Reaves had the opportunity to answer Royce O'Neale's late three-pointer, but his final shot rattled off the rim. Although four of the Lakers' five starters scored in double digits, Luka Doncic was the only player to score more than 15 points in the surprising loss. Next to Doncic, Reaves looked like the most effective player on the floor during the loss as he took advantage of absences from Dillon Brooks (hand) and Devin Booker (hip).

Jalen Green SG | PHO
Suns' Jalen Green: Struggles with shot in loss
Green amassed nine points (4-15 FG, 1-7 3Pt), three rebounds, one assist and one steal in 24 minutes during Thursday's 113-110 win over the Lakers.
Although Green popped with a 26-point result last week, he's failed to make much of an impact since returning to full-time action. His ongoing minute restriction is part of the problem, as he's averaged only 27.3 minutes over the past four games. His shot volume has stayed high despite the limitation, but he'll need to do better than his four-game conversion rate of 28.0 percent.

Grayson Allen SG | PHO
Suns' Grayson Allen: Excels with 28 points from bench
Allen provided 28 points (9-24 FG, 6-16 3Pt, 4-4 FT), one rebound, six assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Thursday's 113-110 win over the Lakers.
Allen proved to be the best fill-in option for Dillon Brooks (hand) in the narrow victory, as Ryan Dunn and Royce O'Neale had a hard time finding room against the Lakers. Allen drilled six three-pointers in the win, marking his third-highest total of the season in the category. Allen is working his way back from a couple of injuries, and he will probably rejoin the starting five soon.

Royce O'Neale PF | PHO
Suns' Royce O'Neale: Hits game-winning three
O'Neale provided 13 points (4-7 FG, 3-6 3Pt, 2-2 FT), six rebounds and three assists across 28 minutes during Thursday's 113-110 victory over the Lakers.
O'Neale sank a clutch three-pointer with seconds remaining to seal the narrow victory, thwarting the Lakers' late rally in dramatic fashion. O'Neale finally paid off as a top producer while filling in for Dillon Brooks (hand) after totaling only nine points and nine rebounds over the previous two games. He'll be a regular starter, but his results will be unpredictable and often fall below expectations.

Luka Doncic PG | LAL
Lakers' Luka Doncic: Racks up 41 points in loss
Doncic recorded 41 points (12-21 FG, 6-11 3Pt, 11-12 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals across 39 minutes during Thursday's 113-110 loss to the Suns.
Doncic did all he could to propel LA to a victory, but it wasn't quite enough to get the job done. This was an efficient scoring performance from the 26-year-old, who needed only 21 attempts from the field to reach the 40-point threshold. Doncic is averaging 31.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 9.3 assists and 1.3 steals over his last four showings.

Naz Reid C | MIN
Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Returns to play
Reid (undisclosed) checked in during the third quarter of Thursday's game against Los Angeles, per the television broadcast.
Reid was spotted back on the bench at the end of the second quarter, and he checked back into the matchup with 7:19 remaining in the third period. He shouldn't face any kind of restriction in the second half.
-
Nick Richards C | CHI
Bulls' Nick Richards: Nabs first double-double of season
Richards recorded 14 points (4-7 FG, 6-6 FT), 10 rebounds and one assist across 27 minutes during Thursday's 121-112 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Richards provided solid contributions off the bench and secured his first double-double of the 2025-26 campaign in the process. The big man saw an uptick in playing time Thursday with Jalen Smith (calf) sidelined, and that trend should continue with Smith ruled out for at least the next week.
-
Matas Buzelis SF | CHI
Bulls' Matas Buzelis: Productive in loss
Buzelis supplied 20 points (6-16 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 6-9 FT), seven rebounds, four assists, one block and two steals over 36 minutes during Thursday's 121-112 loss to the Trail Blazers.
Buzelis put together another strong showing offensively and led the Bulls in scoring, but it wasn't enough to prevent Chicago from dropping another game. The second-year forward has been one of the few bright spots for the Bulls lately, as the team now owns an 0-11 record in February. Buzelis should continue to see opportunities to shine in the starting lineup.

Robert Williams III C | POR
Trail Blazers' Robert Williams: Double-doubles off bench
Williams had 14 points (6-9 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 14 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals across 23 minutes during Thursday's 121-112 win over Chicago.
Williams' status was a question mark leading up to tipoff, but he was ultimately cleared to play and turned in a strong showing. He scored in double figures for the first time since Feb. 6 and secured his first double-double since Feb. 1, as he saw more opportunities in the frontcourt without Donovan Clingan (illness). However, Williams is unlikely to see this kind of playing time when Clingan is healthy.
