  • Timberwolves' Joan Beringer: Starting Sunday

Beringer is in the starting lineup for Sunday's matchup with the 76ers.

Beringer will draw the first start of his NBA career due to both Rudy Gobert (suspension) and Naz Reid (shoulder) being unavailable, and it'll be Donte DiVincenzo, Anthony Edwards, Jaden McDaniels and Julius Randle joining him in the first unit. Beringer is a solid rebounder and defender, so he could be someone to consider streaming in deep leagues if you need some big man stats.

  • Naz Reid C | MIN

    Timberwolves' Naz Reid: Out Sunday

Reid (shoulder) is out for Sunday's game against the 76ers.

Reid will miss his first game of the season due to a right shoulder injury. With Rudy Gobert (suspension) also sidelined, Joan Beringer could see extra minutes at the five, while Terrence Shannon could see an expanded role off the bench.

  • Kyle Anderson SF | MIN

Grizzlies' Kyle Anderson: Doubtful for Monday

Anderson (knee) is doubtful to play Monday against the Kings.

Anderson is on track to miss his second straight game Monday, which will open up minutes for Olivier-Maxence Prosper and Taylor Hendricks. Check back closer to Monday's tip for official word on Anderson's status.

  • Cedric Coward SG | MEM

Grizzlies' Cedric Coward: Out again Monday

Coward (knee) will remain on the sidelined for Monday's matchup with the Kings.

Monday will mark Coward's fourth straight absence, and for now, he should be considered questionable at best for Wednesday's meeting with the Warriors. Walter Clayton, Cam Spencer and Olivier-Maxence Prosper will continue to pick up the slack in Coward's absence.

  • Keyonte George SG | UTA

Jazz's Keyonte George: Questionable for Monday

George (ankle) is questionable for Monday's game in Houston.

George has missed seven of the past eight games with an ankle injury, but Monday will mark the first time he's received the questionable tag since aggravating the ankle sprain Feb. 7. We'll have a better idea on George's status based on his activity level at shootaround, but if he is able to return, Isaiah Collier's value would take a hit, as he'd likely be sent back to the second unit.

  • Jazz's Lauri Markkanen: Likely to play Monday

Markkanen (illness) is probable for Monday's game against the Rockets.

Markkanen is likely to return to action Monday after missing the last two games with an illness. Over his last five appearances, he holds averages of 21.6 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 24.6 minutes per contest.

  • Jusuf Nurkic C | UTA

Jazz's Jusuf Nurkic: Won't play Monday

Nurkic (nose) has been ruled out for Monday's game in Houston.

Monday will mark Nurkic's third consecutive game on the inactive list, and for now, he should be considered questionable for Thursday's game against the Pelicans. Kyle Filipowski will continue to get the bulk of the five-man minutes with Nurkic sidelined.

  • Anthony Gill PF | WAS

    Wizards' Anthony Gill: Starting Sunday

Gill will start Sunday versus the Hornets.

This will be Gill's first start of the season and he'll be joined in the first unit by Bub Carrington, Tre Johnson, Bilal Coulibaly and Kyshawn George. Gill could be looking at major minutes Sunday as the tallest player available to man the five-spot, so he's on the radar in daily fantasy leagues.

  • Grant Williams PF | CHA

    Hornets' Grant Williams: Starting Sunday

Williams will start Sunday's game against the Wizards.

Williams missed Friday's game due to right knee injury management, but he will return to the lineup Sunday. Williams will get a third consecutive start due to Miles Bridges (suspension) being out. In his last two starts, he averaged 13.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 30.5 minutes per contest.

  • Sion James SG | CHA

Hornets' Sion James: Back to bench Sunday

James is not in the Hornets' starting lineup against the Wizards on Sunday.

The rookie second-rounder started in Friday's loss to the Cavaliers, when he finished with five points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-2 FT), seven assists, six rebounds, three steals and one block over 30 minutes. James will revert to a bench role while Grant Williams enters the Hornets' starting lineup for Sunday's contest.
