The Bengals plan to place Allen (hand) on injured reserve, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Allen broke his hand and suffered a hamstring strain during Sunday's win over the Vikings and is expected to miss the next three games. The Bengals haven't officially placed him on IR yet, but the move is almost certain, as they will need to open up a roster spot ahead of Week 2.
