With Mario Williams out for this week's game in Kansas City, Carrington is expected to receive the bulk of the available snaps in the star lineman's place. The Buffalo News reports. "I like him, because he's a versatile guy," said coach Rex Ryan. "He can play inside, he can play outside. He can do a lot of different things. He's a good player."
Carrington saw 49 percent of the defensive snaps Monday against the Patriots, but he's in line to see even more this week with two starters ruled out. Carrington isn't much of a sack monger, never having more than two in a season, but there's a chance he'll pick up some odd tackles or even a sack if the Chiefs give too much attention to Marcell Dareus and Jerry Hughes.
