Cleveland placed Jones (lower leg) on its injured reserve list Tuesday.
Jones suffered a broken fibula during Sunday's game at New Orleans, and now he'll spend the rest of the season on injured reserve. If regular starter Jedrick Wills continues to miss time due to his knee issue, Germain Ifedi would figure to be the next man up for the Browns at tackle.
