Brown (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Jets, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
Reports had surfaced late Saturday that Brown's outlook had improved after he was able to practice earlier in the day without any reported restrictions, and his availability for the interconference clash with the Jets now is confirmed. The veteran is coming off a 10-catch, 101-yard effort on 15 targets versus the Panthers in Week 16, but the return of Mike Evans (hamstring) on Sunday after he missed the contest against Carolina could eat into Brown's volume.
