Krause's chances to claim one of the Bucs' final receiver spots appear dim heading into the preseason finale versus Washington, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
The 24-year-old had impressed early in camp and amassed three catches for 56 yards over the first two exhibition games, but his participation was notably reduced in last Friday's victory over the Browns. Krause received only nine snaps in that contest and was not targeted, while also being shut out of the punt return rotation. He figures to have some extended opportunity to showcase his skills in Wednesday night's finale versus the Redskins with the top receiving trio of Mike Evans, Vincent Jackson and Adam Humphries expected to play sparingly, if at all.
