Long suffered a knee injury during practice Thursday, Sam McDowell of The Kansas City Star reports.
The extent of the knee injury remains unclear, but coach Andy Reid said after practice that it doesn't look like any ligaments are involved. Long recently returned to the NFL, signing a one-year deal with the Chiefs with the expectation that he'd bolster the team's offensive line. A timetable for Long's return has yet to be established.
