Tonyan finished the 2025 regular season with one reception for one yard in 17 games.
Tonyan signed with the Chiefs' active roster in late August after previously signing with their practice squad. The 31-year-old spent the majority of the season as the No.3 tight end behind Travis Kelce and Noah Gray. Tonyan is set to hit free agency, where he'll likely compete for a depth role once again.
