Rush, who is expected to start Sunday against the Bengals, signed a contract with the Cowboys on Saturday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Rush was technically on the practice squad and previously was a Week 1 call-up, but the Cowboys quickly rectified the issue by officially signing the backup to the 53-man squad. Rush is expected to start Sunday against the Bengals, with Will Grier projected to act as his backup.
