In a 10-team league, when every Fantasy manager is going to have a stacked roster, you want to find a way to give yourself an edge. That could be drafting the best group of running backs or receivers or maybe the top quarterback or tight end -- something to set yourself apart.

It helps if you have an early pick in Round 1, which I did here in this 10-team PPR mock draft featuring members of our CBS Sports staff. With the first overall pick, I drafted Christian McCaffrey, who gives me a huge advantage.

I intended to draft a receiver in Round 2, and DeAndre Hopkins was the top one on the board. In Round 3, I could have drafted another receiver like Justin Jefferson, A.J. Brown or DK Metcalf, who were all available. Instead, I opted for a difference-making tight end in Darren Waller.

Now, with the No. 1 running back, No. 2 tight end and a top-five receiver, I felt like I was on my way to setting myself apart from the rest of the league.

I felt fortunate to draft Chris Carson in Round 4 as my second running back, and again I was faced with a tough decision. I could have drafted my second receiver in Julio Jones, D.J. Moore or Chris Godwin, and we start three receivers in this league.

But knowing that wide receiver is an even deeper position in a 10-team league, I opted for another difference maker in Lamar Jackson. Now, I have a top-three quarterback to go with McCaffrey, Hopkins, Waller and Carson.

My receiving corps was a priority next, so I drafted Jerry Jeudy and Brandon Aiyuk with my next two selections, and both of these guys have breakout potential. I've been excited about Jeudy all offseason, and hopefully he's a strong No. 2 receiver in all leagues. The same goes for Aiyuk, who should be the No. 1 receiver in San Francisco and No. 2 target behind George Kittle.

I added to my receiving corps with Courtland Sutton in Round 8 and Laviska Shenault in Round 9. While it's not ideal to have Jeudy and Sutton on the same Fantasy roster, I didn't mind it in this league. Now, I get to see who will emerge as the best pass catcher in Denver, and Shenault can be a flex option while I let this play out. Shenault is also a breakout candidate as the best Fantasy receiver in Jacksonville.

I wanted to fortify my running back corps next, so I drafted James Conner in Round 10 and A.J. Dillon in Round 11. While I expect Chase Edmonds to lead the Cardinals backfield this year, Conner will still play a prominent role in Arizona and can be a flex option for this team. And Dillon is a good backup running back while Aaron Jones is healthy, but Dillon could be a league winner if Jones were to miss any time.

I added to my bench with Michael Gallup, James White and Chuba Hubbard, who is the handcuff for McCaffrey. Gallup could work into my receiver rotation and has lottery-ticket upside if CeeDee Lamb or Amari Cooper ever got hurt. And White is a sneaky flex play in PPR now that Mac Jones is the starter for the Patriots

This team has plenty of upside because of the cornerstones of my roster, including McCaffrey, Hopkins, Waller and Jackson. I should have an edge over most teams at those positions, and then hopefully my other starters will have standout seasons to lead me to a potential championship.

In this league, all touchdowns are worth six points, and we award one point for every 10 yards rushing and receiving and one point for every 25 yards passing. We also award one point for every reception. We feature a starting lineup of QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, TE, FLEX (RB/WR/TE) and DST. There also are six reserve spots for a 15-round draft.
