I had a few choices for Start of the Week before settling on J.K. Dobbins, but I seriously considered going with Jerome Ford, given his matchup at Jacksonville. Ford should have a big game against the Jaguars, and he's going to be one of my favorite DFS options for Week 2.
Ford is a great price on DraftKings ($5,900) and FanDuel ($6,300), and he should get plenty of work for the Browns. Ford just had 18 total touches (12 carries and six catches) in Week 1 against Dallas, and that was in a 33-17 loss.
This should be a more competitive game for Cleveland, and Ford should thrive in the passing game. He had seven targets against the Cowboys, and the Browns are without David Njoku (ankle) in Week 2, which should help Ford.
In 2023, Jacksonville was No. 1 in most receptions allowed to running backs with 109. The Jaguars look like they are going to struggle in this category again after they allowed De'Von Achane and Raheem Mostert to catch nine passes for 86 yards on 10 targets in Week 1.
Ford should have the chance for a big stat line in Week 2. He's someone you want in your lineups for DraftKings and FanDuel -- if you want to win.
