The 49ers are falling apart heading into Week 3 at the Rams. First, it was Christian McCaffrey (calf) prior to the season. Then, Deebo Samuel (calf) was hurt in Week 2. And now, George Kittle (hamstring) missed practice Thursday, leaving his status for Sunday's game in doubt.

Hello, Brandon Aiyuk. He is my favorite player to roster for DFS in Week 3.

Aiyuk has gotten off to a slow start this season, which comes after he missed practice during training camp because of his contract. Through two games against the Jets and Vikings, Aiyuk only has six catches for 71 yards on 10 targets.

But now is his time to shine. And the same goes for Jauan Jennings, who also gets a boost with the injuries. Jennings has seven catches for 101 yards on nine targets to start the season.

While Brock Purdy will be tough to trust with the missing talent, Aiyuk and Jennings are worth putting in your lineups. Aiyuk is $6,200 on DraftKings and $6,500 on FanDuel, while Jennings is $4,100 on DraftKings and $5,200 on FanDuel.

Jennings is the better value, but Aiyuk has the higher ceiling. And this is a great matchup for him against the Rams, who allowed Jameson Williams to have a big game in Week 1 (five catches for 121 yards and a touchdown on nine targets) and Marvin Harrison Jr. to have a huge outing in Week 2 (four catches for 130 yards and two touchdowns on eight targets).

Aiyuk also likes playing in Los Angeles, and he has either a touchdown or 100 receiving yards in two of his past three games at the Rams. I'm excited to see what he can do in Week 3 with several stars hurt for the 49ers, and Jennings should also benefit as well.
