Atlanta waived Verdon (undisclosed) with an injury designation Tuesday, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Verdon was unavailable for much of the 2025 campaign due to a lingering shoulder injury, but it's not clear if the current issue he's dealing with is related. If he's not claimed by another club during the current waiver period, he'll be in line to spend the whole 2026 season on Atlanta's injured reserve list.
