You can't hit what you can't see - and Lions quarterack Matthew Stafford had trouble seeing his receivers through the blizzard Sunday at Philadelphia. He also had problems hanging on to the ball with five fumbles, including one lost.
Stafford had not thrown for fewer than 219 yards in any game this season, but managed just 148 in the loss to the Eagles. He was also blanked in the touchdown department for the first time in 2013.
He actually worsened when the heavy snowfall dissipated in the second half, but he complained following the game that the field conditions made passing more difficult. He was just 4 of 13 for 61 yards after intermission.
Stafford and his Lions will host Baltimore on Monday Night Football in Week 15.
