Head coach Dennis Allen said Wednesday that Hill (chest) didn't practice Wednesday, but the Saints hope that he'll be a limited participant at Thursday's session, Luke Johnson of The New Orleans Times-Picayune reports.

Hill made an early exit from this past Sunday's win at Dallas due to a chest injury that resulted in him getting further evaluation at a local hospital. He was able to join his teammates for the flight back to New Orleans, and Allen told Mike Triplett of NewOrleans.Football on Monday that Hill "avoided anything serious." Even so, the team is exercising caution with Hill this week, but his ability to return to drills in the coming days could give him a chance to suit up Sunday against the Eagles.
