HIll (chest) was a limited practice participant Thursday, John Hendrix of SI.com reports.

After Hill sat out Wednesday's session, coach Dennis Allen relayed hope that the tight end would return as limited one day later. Indeed, that has come to pass, but Hill still has some work to do as a result of the chest injury that forced him from this past Sunday's victory at Dallas and also resulted in a visit to a local hospital. Hill will have one more opportunity to practice this week before the Saints potentially give him a designation ahead of Sunday's contest versus the Eagles.
