Wilson was released by the Cowboys on Monday. Wilson signed a one-year deal with Dallas in April but will now look for another opportunity. The 31-year-old could be a candidate to land on the team's practice squad as Damone Clark (knee), Eric Kendricks (back) and DeMarvion Overshown (hip) are all currently dealing with injuries.

Dallas signed Wilson to a one-year contract Monday, Michael Gehlken of The Dallas Morning News reports. The Cowboys added Wilson to their practice squad late last season, and he now will be under contract for at least one more go around. He played 207 snaps on special teams versus 198 on defense in 2023.

The NFL lifted Wilson's four-game suspension Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. The 30-year-old was released by the Panthers back in March and was then hit with a four-game suspension last month for violating the personal conduct policy. Wilson is now free to play if he can find a team to take a shot on him. He has 127 games of experience, including 73 starts on defense.

The NFL suspended Wilson on Thursday four weeks for violating its personal conduct policy, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Wilson was released by Carolina during the offseason and has yet to find another opportunity since. The suspension will make it even more difficult for him to get another shot at a roster spot.

Wilson notched four tackles (two solo) and one sack during Sunday's 26-24 loss to the Browns. Wilson's time with the Panthers is off to a productive start, and he's coming off a career-best season of 106 tackles (59 solo). The 29-year-old will look to keep up his momentum against a revamped Giants O-line in Week 2.
