Lewis (calf) is questionable to face Detroit on Sunday, JJ Stankevitz of the Colts' official site reports. Lewis landed on injured reserve Oct. 1 due to a calf injury. He was designated to return Wednesday and was able to practice in full all week. Indianapolis will need to activate Lewis before he's able to suit up, and that could happen as soon as this weekend with the Colts set to face a talented Lions team.

Lewis (calf) was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Stephen Holder of ESPN.com reports. Lewis has been out of action since Sept. 29, but he'll return to practice Wednesday and have his 21-day window opened before he needs to be placed on the 53-man roster. The return of the Ohio State product would be great news for the Colts' defensive front, as they head toward the final third of the season, firmly in the AFC playoff picture.

Lewis (calf) has exited Sunday's game against the Steelers, Kevin Bowen of 107.5 The Fan Indianapolis reports. Lewis did not come out for the second half and was dealing with a calf injury leading into the weekend, but he was ultimately active for Week 4. In his absence, Dayo Odeyingbo and Isaiah Land will be candidates for extra opportunities.

Lewis (calf/wrist) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Steelers. Lewis was a full participant in Wednesday's session but was listed as DNP on Thursday and Friday. With Kwity Paye (quadriceps) already ruled out, the Colts could use Lewis' presence off the edge. Dayo Odeyingbo and Laiatu Latu are next up in the rotation off the edge for Indy. Lewis has 15 tackles (10 solo), including 1.0 sacks, through three games.

Lewis started at right defensive end and had four total tackles, including one for loss, in Sunday's win over Chicago. Lewis has one sack this season while playing 67 percent of the defense's snaps. He serves a steady tackler on the defensive line but has a career high of four sacks in 2023 and 2020.
