Walker (knee) was a full participant for Thursday's practice session, Travis Wingfield of the Dolphins' official site reports. Walker was limited Wednesday due to a knee issue, but the 2017 fifth-round pick practiced with no restrictions Thursday and appears to be good to go for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Jaguars. Walker appeared in 12 regular-season games for the Browns last season, finishing with 44 tackles (23 solo), four passes defended, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.

Walker (undisclosed) didn't practice Monday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. The Dolphins signed a pair of new inside linebackers in Walker and Jordyn Brooks (undisclosed) in early March, but each offseason acquisition is now dealing with an injury. Head coach Mike McDaniel told reporters Monday that he expects Walker to return "sooner than later," so the 28-year-old's injury is likely minor. However, it's definitely something to monitor as the preseason continues.

Miami plans to sign Walker to a one-year contract, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Walker missed the final stretch of the 2023 season due to a knee injury that landed him on Cleveland's injured reserve list, but he's now set to get a fresh start with the Dolphins in 2024. Miami is also in line to bring aboard Jordyn Brooks at linebacker next year.

The Browns placed Walker (knee) on injured reserve Friday. Walker has been dealing with this knee issue over the last handful of weeks, and his most recent appearance came in Week 14. The 28-year-old will now be forced to miss the Browns' next four games, but he is eligible to return to the field if Cleveland makes it to the Super Bowl. Expect Tony Fields to fill in for Walker in the Browns' linebacker corps for the foreseeable future.

Walker (knee) is out for Thursday's game versus the Jets, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Walker will be sidelined for his third straight game in Week 17. In his absence, 2021 fifth-rounder Tony Fields is likely to continue to see more work at linebacker against a pass-heavy Jets offense.
