Hand (groin) worked out for the the Colts on Monday, Aaron Wilson of Sportstalk 790 Houston reports. Hand reached an injury settlement with the Lions on Nov. 30 and became a free agent. His workout with the Colts indicates he has recovered from the groin injury that landed him on the IR.

Hand (groin) is questionable to return to Sunday's game against the Browns. Hand exited the game in the second half and did not record any stats. Nick Williams should step into a bigger role so long as Hand is sidelined.

Hand (groin) was seen running on the sidelines during practice this week, Kyle Meinke of MLive.com reports. Hand is on injured reserve due to a groin injury he sustained during training camp. Any sort of increased activity level is good news for the defensive end, who will first be eligible to come off IR in Week 4 against Chicago.

Detroit placed Hand (groin) on injured reserve Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Hand has been sidelined since suffering a groin injury Aug. 10, and he will now be forced to miss at least the first three weeks of the season. The defensive end's first chance to retake the field will come Oct. 3 versus the Bears.

Hand (ankle) was placed on injured reserve Saturday. The 25-year-old picked up the ankle injury during last week's loss to the Packers and will miss the final three games of the season. Hand finishes 2020 with 19 tackles (12 solo) and one forced fumble in 10 games.
