Goode (kneecap) was designated to return from injured reserve Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Goode has yet to play this season due to a ruptured patella suffered last season. He'll now have his 21-day window opened, which will allow him to practice with the team before he'd have to either be placed on the 53-man roster or revert to IR for the rest of the season.

The Dolphins shifted Goode (kneecap) to the reserve/PUP list Tuesday. Goode continues to recover from a ruptured patella he sustained in Week 18 against the Bills last season. He will be forced to sit out for the first four games of the regular season, but the severity of the injury will likely carry his absence beyond the minimum window. Goode marks the second linebacker selected by the Dolphins in the past two days and comes equipped with an absurd 39-inch vertical jump. The athletic linebacker from Cal will likely be a special teams option to start his career.
