The Seahawks released Diggs on Sunday, Gregg Bell of The Tacoma News Tribune reports. General manager John Schneider says the Seahawks intend to keep Diggs on the practice squad to begin the regular season. The team hopes to let the cornerback further acclimate himself to NFL physicality again, as Diggs had not been in full pads since January. The 27-year-old will be free to join any other team's 53-man roster while this transition period plays out, so there is no explicit guarantee Diggs remains with the Seahawks throughout the 2026 season.

The Packers waived Diggs on Tuesday. Diggs joined the Packers in late December after being waived by the Cowboys. He played 33 defensive snaps against the Vikings in Week 18 when the Packers' starters rested, but he played just one defensive snap during Green Bay's NFC wild-card loss against Chicago. Per Zach Jacobson of 247Sports.com, the Packers were open to restructuring Diggs' contract, and there's a chance that the 2020 second-rounder sticks around in Green Bay for at least the upcoming season.

The Packers officially claimed Diggs off waivers from the Cowboys on Wednesday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports. Diggs will still need to pass a physical before joining the Green Bay roster, but that seems to be a foregone conclusion. Green Bay is headed to the postseason as the No. 7 seed in the NFC, so Diggs could be a major acquisition even if he doesn't play Week 18 against Minnesota. The Packers placed cornerback Nate Hobbs on injured reserve Wednesday, so Diggs should eventually help fill that void. Green Bay will assume the remainder of the five-year, $97 million extension Diggs inked with Dallas in the summer of 2023, though the 27-year-old's deal contains no guaranteed money after the 2025 season, making him a potential cut candidate this offseason.

The Packers claimed Diggs off waivers from the Cowboys on Wednesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports. Diggs missed a total of eight games for Dallas so far this season due to a concussion and a knee injury, but he was healthy enough to suit up for both of the team's last two contests. Now set to join Green Bay, the 2021 All-Pro cornerback will bolster a secondary that had been decimated by injuries in recent weeks. Given the short onboarding period with his new team, Diggs is unlikely to debut in Sunday's regular-season finale against Minnesota, but he should be ready to contribute for the Packers in their first playoff contest.

The Cowboys waived Diggs on Tuesday, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports. After racking up 14 interceptions between the 2021 and 2022 seasons, Diggs signed a five-year, $97 million contract extension with Dallas in the summer of 2023 but has struggled to meet expectations ever since. In addition to sitting out most of the 2023 season after sustaining an ACL tear, Diggs has missed time in the 2024 and 2025 campaigns due to a groin and knee injuries as well as a concussion. He had played in just eight of Dallas' first 16 games this season, logging 25 tackles and recording no interceptions. Any team putting in a claim for Diggs would have to assume the remaining money on his contract, though he could be cut with few ramifications this offseason since his deal is non-guaranteed after 2025.
