  Allen is a lottery ticket to stash behind Breece Hall, and Allen just had a solid outing in Week 2 at Tennessee even with Hall healthy. Allen had seven carries for 33 yards and a touchdown and caught two passes for 23 yards and a touchdown on four targets against the Titans. If Hall were to miss any time, Allen would be a potential top-20 running back in all leagues. He's worth adding for up to 5 percent of your remaining FAB.

  Allen rushed seven times for 33 yards and a touchdown while catching two of four targets for 23 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 24-17 win over the Titans. Allen had just nine touches compared to Breece Hall's 21, but the youngest skill-position player in the NFL made the most of his limited opportunities, producing his first two touchdowns in his second game. The rookie fourth-round pick out of Wisconsin got the Jets on the board with a 12-yard touchdown catch late in the first half, then scored the game-winning touchdown on a 20-yard run with 4:31 left in the fourth quarter, breaking a 17-17 tie. Allen has the frame to run inside effectively at 6-foot-1 and 235 pounds, and he has also shown the hands and elusiveness necessary to contribute as a pass catcher. Hall's in no danger of losing his starting role after racking up 114 yards and a touchdown Sunday, but Allen has shown he can excel in a change-of-pace role and should earn some touches on a short week Thursday against the Patriots.

  Allen rushed once for eight yards and caught his only target for nine yards in Monday's 32-19 loss to the 49ers. With a nine-yard catch late in the fourth quarter, Allen became the youngest player to register a touch on offense in the Super Bowl era at 20 years and 233 days. The rookie fourth-round draft pick out of Wisconsin added an eight-yard run on the following play, but he watched Breece Hall amass 21 touches before that point, so Allen's a distant second on the Jets' running back depth chart heading into Week 2 against the Titans.

  Allen should be the No. 2 running back for the Jets behind Breece Hall, which makes Allen a lottery ticket to stash in all leagues. I don't know how much Allen will play in tandem with Hall, but if Hall were to miss any time then Allen would be a borderline starter in all formats.

  Allen rushed the ball eight times for 27 yards in Saturday's 15-12 preseason win over the Panthers. He added two catches (on four targets) for 12 yards. Allen has drawn praise throughout training camp for his physical running style, and the team has also talked up his potential as a pass catcher. He didn't show much ability as a receiver during his collegiate career at Wisconsin, but he was heavily involved in that role Saturday with mixed results. Allen has seemingly all but locked in the second spot on the running back depth chart behind Breece Hall, though Isaiah Davis did get the first rushing attempt in Saturday's contest.
