  • Davis signed with the Saints on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports. Davis had options, according to Garafolo, as he initially agreed to sign with New Orleans' practice squad before the Lions called to sign him to the active roster. Instead, he's sticking with the Saints and joining the 53-man roster. Davis has 122 career regular-season games under his belt and appeared in 15 with the Commanders last season.

  • Davis (shoulder) is questionable to return to Sunday night's contest against the Falcons. Davis suffered a shoulder injury while tackling running back Bijan Robinson on Atlanta's first possession of the game. His six stops Sunday were fifth-most on the team and tied for his highest mark since he made eight tackles against Las Vegas in Week 4. Davis' performance Sunday pushed his season tackle total to 62, two shy of the career-best mark he set in 2020.
