Horvath was waived by the Dolphins on Tuesday, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reports. Horvath spent the first half of training camp in New Orleans before getting waived. He subsequently joined Miami, but the team ultimately decided to go in another direction. It remains to be seen what the fullback's next opportunity will be.

The Dolphins signed Horvath to a contract Monday. Horvath, who was waived by the Saints last week, joins Miami's backfield along with Anthony McFarland on the same day the team released Salvon Ahmed. The Dolphins' initial transaction report lists Horvath as a running back rather than specifically as a fullback, which could be an indication that he'll have a chance to compete for depth backfield reps with his new team.

The Steelers released Horvath from their practice squad Monday, Teresa Varley of the team's official site reports. Horvath spent his rookie season last year with the Chargers, rushing four times for eight yards and catching five of eight targets for eight yards and two touchdowns. He was let go by Los Angeles at the end of training camp and subsequently signed to Pittsburgh's practice squad, but he'll now need to look for a new organization. The Steelers signed fellow fullback Jack Colletto to their practice squad in a move corresponding with Horvath's release.

Horvath was waived by the Chargers on Wednesday, Daniel Popper of The Athletic reports. Horvath was waived to make room for newly signed linebacker Tanner Muse. The fullback made 15 appearances for the Chargers as a rookie in 2022, carrying four times for eight yards and adding five receptions for eight yards and two touchdowns.

Horvath (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Broncos. Despite the trio of limited practices Horvath put forth earlier this week, he'll ultimately miss a second consecutive matchup Sunday due to the high-ankle sprain he sustained back in Week 16. Donald Parham and Tre' McKitty could be in store for additional blocking opportunities as long as Horvath remains sidelined.
