Price rushed 10 times for 29 yards and brought in two of four targets for eight yards in the Seahawks' 34-17 loss to the Bears on Monday night. Making his return from a four-game stay on injured reserve due to a chest injury, Price ended up leading the Seahawks' ground attack in carries and rushing yards. Price's return coincided with the season debut of Zach Charbonnet (knee), who logged six carries in his own right in a game whose script eventually turned unfriendly to the running game. Monday may have served as a preview of that might be expected in terms of the division of labor between the two players, but more information will be gleaned during a Week 9 home matchup against the Cardinals on Sunday that should afford both backs more opportunities.

The Seahawks reinstated Price (chest) from injured reserve ahead of Monday's game against the Bears, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. As Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier Monday, Price will be back in action for Seattle after a minimum-length four-game stint on IR. Price, who initially sustained the chest injury Week 2 before being deactivated after experiencing an aggravation, carried 28 times for 119 yards and added four receptions for 21 yards on seven targets through Seattle's first three games. Though he closed Week 8 prep with a pair of full practices, Price may have to settle for a more muted role as part of a backfield committee in his return to action. Zach Charbonnet (knee) has been cleared to make his 2026 debut Monday, and Emanuel Wilson could also factor into the mix after rushing for a season-high 100 yards in last week's win over the Chiefs.

Price (chest) doesn't have a designation for Monday's game against the Bears, but he remains on injured reserve, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. The Seahawks designated Price for return from IR on Thursday, and he proceeded to be limited that day and full Friday. Now that he's been given clearance for his first game action since Week 3 due to a chest injury, the team still needs to activate him from IR by Monday afternoon in order for him to be available in Week 8. Fellow RB Zach Charbonnet (knee) also doesn't have a designation this week, so Seattle's backfield suddenly is crowded, with Emanuel Wilson and George Holani also in the mix.

Price (chest) was designated to return from injured reserve Thursday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. As was expected following head coach Mike Macdonald's comments from Monday, Price will see his first on-field work since suffering a chest injury in a Week 3 loss at Washington. The Seahawks also are honing in on a season debut for Zach Charbonnet (knee), so the team's backfield may soon be close to 100 percent. Ultimately, though, Thursday's injury report will provide a base line activity level for both RBs ahead of Monday's game against the Bears.

Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said Monday that Price (chest) will be designated for return from injured reserve during Week 8, Gregg Bell of Sports Radio 93.3 KJR Seattle reports. Seattle will likely make the transaction official Thursday, when the team will hold its first practice ahead of next Monday's game against the Bears. Since the Seahawks will have a 21-day window to evaluate Price before they would need to reinstate him from IR, Macdonald acknowledged that a decision on the running back's status for Monday's contest likely won't be made until the end of the week. Whenever he's activated, Price could be part of a backfield committee backfield with Zach Charbonnet (knee) -- who appears to be trending toward making his 2026 debut versus Chicago -- and potentially Emanuel Wilson and George Holani.
