Broncos OC Davis Webb said Aug. 25 that Waddle is "going to play everywhere" on offense this season, Zac Stevens of TheDNVR.com reports. "He's going to play everywhere," Webb said. "He's really really good. He's going to play everywhere. Except offensive line." Coach Sean Payton has been moving Waddle all over the formation during training camp, and he recently beat Patrick Surtain for a 60-yard touchdown in practice. Payton added that Waddle "walks on water" with his traits. Acquired from the Dolphins over the offseason, Waddle missed some time early in camp with tightness. He's looking like a potential home run pick in the third and fourth rounds of fantasy drafts. Waddle is expected to be the engine of the Denver offense.

Waddle is in uniform for Friday's preseason game versus the Packers, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. After dealing with muscle tightness in his leg in early August, Waddle got back on the practice field Monday and progressed to team drills one day later. With his health seemingly not in question, he's poised to see his first game action with QB Bo Nix after Denver traded for the wide receiver's services back in March.

Things continue to be on the upswing for Waddle, who had been dealing with muscle tightness in his leg since early August. The prized offseason acquisition practiced Monday and is now going to work in full pads Tuesday. His status for Denver's upcoming preseason game against Green Bay on Friday is uncertain, but it's clear that Waddle is making progress toward being ready for the regular season.

Waddle (leg) isn't slated to play in Friday's preseason contest in Atlanta, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports. Waddle initially exited an Aug. 5 practice session early due to muscle tightness, and while he got rid of the sleeve on his left leg this past Saturday, he has yet to mix back into drills in the meantime. As a result, his first taste of game action as a Bronco will have to wait until at least next Friday against the Packers. Once Waddle is healthy, he's set to form a top WR duo in Denver with Courtland Sutton for QB Bo Nix.
