Bernard-Converse (groin) practiced in full Thursday. Bernard-Converse sustained a groin injury in the Jets' second preseason game against the Panthers on Aug. 17. The 2023 sixth-round pick should be good to suit up for Week 1 against the 49ers after opening the week as a full participant in Thursday's practice. Bernard-Converse appeared in eight regular-season games for the Jets in 2023, finishing with two tackles (one solo) while playing 101 snaps on special teams and four on defense.

Bernard-Converse is doubtful to return to Saturday's preseason matchup against the Panthers due to a groin injury, Brian Costello of the New York Post reports. Bernard-Converse was active before getting hurt, logging four tackles (three solo). The 24-year-old has had a good camp and is vying for a depth spot in a talented and crowded cornerback room. His chance of making the cut could be hurt if the groin issue is more than minor.
