• Saints' Tyler Shough: Adds/Streamers (QB Preview)

  There is not a QB available in even 30% of CBS leagues that ranks inside my top 18 this week. You do not want to stream a quarterback in Fantasy playoffs. But I understand some of you lose Patrick Mahomes last week and still advanced. If you have no other options, I would stream Tyler Shough before Gardner Minshew or Marcus Mariota. Shough has scored 20 Fantasy points in three straight starts, and he has a home game against the Jets, who just gave up 53 points to Trevor Lawrence.

  Shough is playing well heading into Week 16 against the Jets with at least 20.1 Fantasy points in three games in a row and four of his past five outings. He has 87 rushing yards and two touchdowns in his past two games against Tampa Bay and Carolina, and he might have to run more against the Jets if Alvin Kamara (knee) and Devin Neal (hamstring) are out. The Jets just allowed Trevor Lawrence to score 54.3 Fantasy points in Week 15, and Shough is worth using as a low-end starter in deeper leagues.

• Saints' Tyler Shough: Throws for 272 yards, TD in win

  Shough completed 24 of 32 passes for 272 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 20-17 win over the Panthers. He also rushed eight times for 32 yards. Shough's only touchdown of the game was a clutch one, as he connected with Chris Olave for the game-tying score with 2:29 remaining. The rookie quarterback then guided the Saints into position for Charlie Smyth's game-winning 47-yard field goal, which Shough helped set up by drawing a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty on a scramble during the Saints' penultimate offensive play. Spencer Rattler came in for the next play while Shough was evaluated on the sideline, but Shough was available to speak to the media after the game, suggesting Shough should be fine to take on the Jets in Week 16.

  Shough had another solid Fantasy outing in Week 14 at Tampa Bay with 21.3 points, and he now has at least that total in three of his past four games. He has a favorable upcoming schedule against Carolina in Week 15 (he scored 22.9 Fantasy points at Carolina in Week 10), the Jets in Week 16 and Tennessee in Week 17, and Shough might be worth using as a borderline starter in deeper leagues to close the year. He's worth adding for 1 percent of your remaining FAB.

• Saints' Tyler Shough: Two rushing scores in upset win

  Shough completed 13 of 20 passes for 144 yards with no touchdowns and one interception while adding seven rushes for 55 yards and two touchdowns in the Saints' 24-20 win over the Buccaneers on Sunday. Shough took three sacks and generated the third sub-200-yard tally through the air of his six-game starting tenure, but the rookie signal-caller shined with his work on the ground. Shough recorded the first two rushing scores of his career on 34- and 13-yard runs, the latter play coming with 8:26 remaining in the game and snapping a 17-17 tie. Shough also established a new career high in rushing yardage in the upset victory, and his penchant for keeping the Saints competitive most weeks affords him a reasonably optimistic outlook for a Week 15 home divisional clash against the Panthers.
