  Westover (undisclosed) signed with the Patriots' practice squad Wednesday. Westover spent training camp with the Seahawks after joining the team as a UDFA out of Washington. However, an undisclosed injury led to him being waived with an injury settlement. Now healthy, he'll work to make the most of his new opportunity in New England.

  The Seahawks waived Westover (undisclosed) from injured reserve with an injury settlement Friday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports. Westover signed with the Seahawks in April as an undrafted free agent. The Washington product played in the preseason opener against the Chargers on Aug. 10, but his unspecified injury kept him out of the following two exhibition contests. The injury settlement allows Westover to sign with another team once he is fully healthy.
