  • Speed (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Titans, Nate Atkins of The Indianapolis Star reports. Speed will miss his second game of the season as the Colts take on the Titans at home. The sixth-year linebacker missed Week 7 against the Dolphins with a knee problem, and this very likely could be related to that injury. His next chance to see the field will be Week 17 versus the Giants.

  • Colts' E.J. Speed: Has nice day in win
    By RotoWire

Speed recorded nine tackles (eight solo) and a pass defensed during Sunday's 25-24 win at New England. Speed tallied nine-plus tackles for the fifth time in his last six contests in Week 13, and his pass breakup prevented a big gain on the Patriots' final drive of the game. He projects as a good IDP option for the fantasy playoffs after the Colts' bye in Week 14.

  • Colts' E.J. Speed: First career pick
    By RotoWire

Speed recorded six tackles (four solo) and an interception in Sunday's 30-20 loss to the Bills. Speed recorded fewer than 10 tackles for just the third time this season, but he managed to record his first career interception in the second quarter. The 2019 fifth-round pick is on the final year of his second NFL contract, and he ranks second in the league with 62 solo tackles through nine games, just two shy of Budda Baker, who has played 10 games.
