  Nix was great against Arizona in Week 7 with a season-high 28.2 Fantasy points, which included a 62-yard touchdown run. I'm still skeptical of Nix as a starting Fantasy option in one-quarterback leagues, and he was held to 7.4 Fantasy points in Week 1 against the Chiefs. Nix only has one game this season with multiple touchdown passes, which was Week 3 against the Rams. Kansas City is No. 3 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing quarterbacks, and Kirk Cousins in Week 4 is the lone quarterback with at least 20 Fantasy points against the Chiefs this season. I would only use Nix in Superflex and two-quarterback leagues in Week 8.

  Nix completed 15 of 29 passes for 222 yards and a touchdown while rushing seven times for 73 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-16 win over the Cardinals. Nix led the Broncos in rushing yards thanks to a 62-yard rushing touchdown in the second quarter, which was the longest regular-season rushing score by a QB since Justin Fields ran in a 67-yard TD in 2022. Nix added a 52-yard touchdown pass to RJ Harvey in the third quarter, but it was another quiet outing as a passer for the third-year QB, as Nix has only one multi-touchdown performance through seven starts and is averaging just 182 passing yards per game. Those poor numbers include a 131-yard, one-TD Week 1 performance against the Chiefs, whom the Broncos will host for a Week 8 rematch.

  Nix completed 17 of 27 passes for 107 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed four times for two yards in the Broncos' 17-14 overtime win over the Seahawks on Thursday. He also recovered a fumble. Nix continued his season-long trend of sticking to mostly short-area passes, leading to a season-low passing yardage figure and average of 4.0 yards per attempt. The third-year signal-caller did reverse a trend of three straight games with sub-60.0 percent completion rates, but Nix also failed to throw a touchdown for the first time all season. Denver's defense did most of the heavy lifting and both of the Broncos' touchdowns came on the ground, while Nix now has three sub-200-yard passing efforts in the last four contests. The Oregon product should have a good chance of boosting his numbers in Week 7, however, as the Broncos visit the defensively challenged Cardinals on Sunday, Oct. 25.

  Drake Maye, Jacoby Brissett and Justin Herbert all scored 11.8 Fantasy points or less against Seattle, and Brock Purdy only scored 20.2 points against the Seahawks in Week 5. Marcus Mariota somehow scored 26.4 Fantasy points against Seattle in Week 3, but it would be a surprise if Nix had a productive game in this matchup. He's scored 16.1 Fantasy points or less in four of five games, and he combined for 25.4 points in his past two outings against the 49ers and Chargers. His first NFL start was against the Seahawks in Week 1 of 2024, and he scored 11.1 Fantasy points. I could see a repeat performance in the Week 6 rematch.

• Broncos' Bo Nix: Switch in play callers falls flat

  Nix was 16-for-27 passing for 123 yards, one touchdown and no interceptions, took four carries for 10 yards and fumbled twice (one lost) during Sunday's 23-17 victory at the Chargers. With head coach Sean Payton taking over play-calling duties from offensive coordinator Davis Webb in Week 5, the decision didn't exactly light a fire under Nix and the Broncos offense. Nix settled for his fewest passing yards of the season, but he at least tossed a TD pass (to WR Courtland Sutton) for a fifth game in a row to kick off the campaign, giving him a 6:3 TD:INT so far. Nix may have a tough time producing better results on a short week when Denver hosts the defending champion Seahawks on Thursday night.
