Palmer failed to secure his only target in the Buccaneers' 23-20 loss to the 49ers on Sunday. The second-year speedster was in on just 15 snaps (25 percent) during the narrow loss, which was surprising considering the absence of Mike Evans and unavailability of Jalen McMillan due to hamstring issues. Palmer had logged at least 25 snaps in each of the previous three games, making Sunday's downturn all the more noteworthy. With both Evans and McMillan potentially available for a Week 12 road matchup against the Giants following a Week 11 bye, Palmer could be headed for another minor role in that contest.

Palmer secured two of four targets for 33 yards and returned two punts for 18 yards in the Buccaneers' 30-24 overtime loss to Kansas City on Monday. The second-year wideout generated modest production despite a 49 percent snap share in the absence of Mike Evans (hamstring), Chris Godwin (ankle), and Jalen McMillan (hamstring). Palmer did record both of his catches on a game-tying drive late in the fourth quarter, but Monday's 33 yards were a season high and he's yet to top three receptions in any contest heading into a Week 10 home matchup against the 49ers.

Palmer brought in both targets for 29 yards and returned two punts for 31 yards in the Buccaneers' 31-26 loss to the Falcons on Sunday. Palmer was in line for extended opportunity due to the absences of Mike Evans (hamstring) and Chris Godwin (IR, ankle), and he indeed logged 51 snaps (70 percent). However, Palmer's numbers left much to be desired, and he's still in search of his first 30-plus-yard showing of the campaign. The second-year speedster will be on the field plenty again during a Week 9 road matchup against the Chiefs next Monday night.

Palmer caught one of his three targets for 16 yards in Monday's 41-31 loss to the Ravens. Despite taking on a more of a prominent role with teammate Mike Evans (hamstring) exiting early in the first half of the contest, Palmer was unable to deliver a useful line over his 59 snaps. With Evans expected to miss at least three games with his injury and with Chris Godwin suffering what appears to be a season-ending ankle injury at the tail end of Monday's loss, Palmer will likely continue to play plenty of snaps Week 8 versus the Falcons. Fellow receivers Jalen McMillan and Sterling Shepard should also benefit from increased roles.

Palmer (concussion) is listed as questionable for Monday's matchup against the Ravens, Brianna Dix of the Buccaneers' official site reports. Palmer logged his second consecutive practice with full participation Saturday, so presumably he just needs to clear concussion protocol in order to play. The second-year target has missed the past two games.
